I've been playing Skyrim for a while (messing around at least) and I spent a lot of time modding it. It was definitely worth it and I love adding new stuff to the world. However, while doing some missions, I was really bored while having to run from Whiterun to Winterhold (given the fact that I didn't discover it in the story). However, after a Google Search, I found out that I can make the Horse's stamina big enough not to ever drain. I made use of this so I could always sprint and now I can explore the map a lot faster.

Did you also ever make use of the console to achieve things? If yes, what did you do?

Well with the mods I use, I don't "have" to cheat... heh... Convenient Horses also adds a way to make horse stamina infinite (or just a lot), but as a Vampire Lord with "Bat Travel Power Mod" I can just fly anywhere (although I do have the Magicka use/drain option on so it's not TOO cheaty) even though I can also use it as a fast travel to certain cities or saved locations ^_^

And also depends on what I might need it for... like for example if I want to play a Daedric Prince, a Divine, or something outside of TES lore like an angel, fallen angel, demon/whatever, then I might use "TIM" toggle immortality, but that's mainly for roleplaying purposes. I might do my own intervention quest when something happens my character might lose that immortality temporarily -- like if I were to wield a Daedric Artifact, I might lose my immortality while I possess it for example.

In my opinion, it's better to use the mods than the cheats. Cheats make the game easy and that's the fact that I dislike. Well, cheats make your game less thrilling but mods add extra features to the game and that's the cool thing about the mods. So, I do use mods but I don't use the cheats.

Those aren't the same to me either. Modding is just part of gaming as long as it's reasonable. I see cheat codes as like invincibility and things like that.

One cheat, adding money to merchants so I can sell all my loot in one go. I really got sick of transferring from city to city just to sell the stuff I got from the recent dungeon run. I don't think it counts as cheating though, as you still sell your items, it's not like you're transferring funds directly to your character, you still earn them by looting the different areas in your missions.

I have mods in which you start off having literally everything, so i've technically cheated throughout

I have yet to add any mod to Skyrim, but I've seen so many videos and truly looks great. The only time I decided to use the console to give myself advantage was when all my lockpicks broke. It was so frustrating and I had to find a way to get the missions done. Otherwise, I would have had to spend my precious time looking for lockpicks all around Skyrim. I did not cheat in any other way besides that and I can happily say that I did not give myself any other boost besides that one. I will look into some mods!

I've temporarily increased my carry weight using the console, but only until I could get rid of useless junk weighing me down. Like first add 1000 carry capability, then remove the same 1000 after visiting a merchant. :p

So then the answer would be "Yes" You used the console to cheat :p "temporarily" does not count as a viable excuse XD

The game is easy to begin with, and the forms of challenge it offers are laughable and artifical (legendary difficulty is basically fighting an AI that cheats).

DON'T EXPECT SPOILER WARNINGS FROM ME
I cheat sometimes, and when I do, I punish myself.
In example, after 1.9 patch its a real pain in the a** to level it up. So with my dear advskill smithing 1000000000 I get it to 100 in no time. BUT, in return, I have thrown away 30k gold (simply put it in random urn somewhere deep in nordic dung. Once it resets, there is no way of taking it back). It's kind of a self-rule.
That invincible cheats you've been talking about guys (tgm, aka god mode, right). I use it sometimes but never in fights. Usually when I have to walk to somewhere, just to make it shorter. Ofc, if I know there is any danger ahead, I don't use it.
Various other examples, but the point is clear (I hope)

A Mage that loves a Templar
I cheated once and became so bored with my charecter that I just had to delete and make another one.

The only time I use cheats is when I don't get the soul of a recently defeated dragon. I also use mods to enhance my game play (Default werewolves are weak) so I don't know if that is somewhat cheating.

Queen of Procrastination
When I just bought Skyrim for PC and remembered I could cheat, I cheated the everloving fluff out of the game. I spawned like 100 mammoths in a cabin and the game crashed.

Intoxicated Arch-Mage
I never cheat, even when I cheat. What I do, I do as a Mage and claim it as a valid science. Who dares to question how two fish crushed together creates the most powerful substance known to Nirn?
