Your character is strolling through the forests in the Rift after the Imperials won the Civil War to see a few Argonians beating some remnant Stormcloak soldiers and tying them up to trees.

What would your character do in this situation?

Hart

Sassmaster
Keep walking. Not her business anyway. Maybe if the Stormcloaks hadn't been so repressive, she would have had different thoughts.

Seanu Reaves

The Shogun of Gaming
Laugh, then once the Argonians leave, kill the Stormcloaks to end their suffering and general unhealthy demeanor.

Mr Forz

I'm helping. Mostly.
Take the fight to the argonians and eventually try to convince the remnant to just let go. Sure I'm a lizard too, and I support the imperials but every race has his jerks and the situation was uncalled for.

Many things would strike me though. Most of "civil" argonians tend to be humble and try to not get involved into stuff, torture is a surprising activity.

Also. What's the matter with your fixation on argonians and potential dominance?

What do you mean?

Kalin of High Rock

Faal Lun Vahdin
Steer well clear of the whole matter. Kalin is apolitical as a rule. She's a vampire and would like to keep that fact from becoming general public knowledge. One doesn't hide in plain sight by standing up for moral, ethical or political ideals.

Now if the argonians moved off and left these poor nords strung to trees, she'd probably free them. Or have a bit of a feed. Either way, she wouldn't leave a person tied up to starve in the woods. Feeding or freeing, she would tend to their wounds first. She thrives on praise and it amuses her to play the philanthropist.

In the situation where the Imperials won the Civil War, I would simply kill my character and start over. SKYRIM BELONGS TO THE NORDS!

Seanu Reaves

The Shogun of Gaming
I would use my disarm shout to make them all drop their weapons and praise Lady Mara. Time for these f#ckers to embrace the teachings of the handmaiden of Kyne.
Since I imagined them being unarmed, this made me laugh too hard.

ZUN HAAL VIIK!!!
*Everyone hit by it watches in horror as their arms fly/ fall off be it Argonian or Stormcloak.
"Embrace Mara, you mother f-ckers!"

Archer Drake

Parkour Enthusiast
Honestly, he'd walk past and probably do nothing. As an Assassin, these things happen often. If it was the other way around, he'd attack the Nords and save the Argonians.

As an officer of the penitus oculatus, my character would award the argonians with a few septims (like 10 maybe) and then my character would order them to leave, my character would ask "when you return home, you will take off this uniform, correct?"

To which they may nod,

Then my character will say "well, I will give you somthing that you can't take off"

My character would order the other soldiers to hold the stormcloak down and tell them to carve the word "stormcloak" into the stormcloak's forehead.

They will take his sword, dump it somehwhere and leave

Yes this is exactly like that one scene from inglorious basterds, Because I designed my character to be as ruthless as Lt. Aldo Raine

The reason for this is when you return to the Castle in solitude, the general hopes that they will go home to their families and give up fighting, so this is done to deter them from rising and becoming a threat.

Help the storm cloaks, shout the Argonians to kingdom come, and say, 'Skyrim belongs to the Nords' :beermug:

How do you backstab a Dragon?

Skyrim belongs to whomever can outthink the Nords... Therefore, Skyrim belongs to that tree-stump over there... :)

My Mage would probably wonder if he needs Argonian blood, if not, then simply walk off unconcerned with the mundane comings and goings of nords or lizards.

Quite a few people forget that Nords can be poets as well as warriors. Look at the Poetic Edda, for Talos' sake!

(Real-world warrior-poet: Egill Skallagrímsson - look it up, milk-drinkers.)

After all, they were based heavily off the real-world Viking culture. I count myself as a Nord due to extensive European heritage (British (Breton), German, Norwegian (Nord), etc.) We're not as addle-brained as you and "Skooma-addicted Mage" make us out to be.

Also, about the "Nords, lizards, coming" thing - I smell a sequel to the Lusty Argonian Maid...

Hey. I'm Norwegian, and even I'll admit that our "Sagas" and "Eddas" are some of the most overblown and long-winded pieces of pookadung around.
