The appearance of the Frost Atronach didn't calm him down... but several seconds of punching it without it doing much to fight back (and being unable to reach Esset) did seem to calm him down... some. At least, he had gotten out of blind rage mode. He made something akin to a snarling noise in Esset's direction, then seemed to look over at Edwyn.

"We're better off storming the keep by ourselves than trusting this killer... this wood elf." There was a lot of tension in the air around Sverr, as though he might begin fighting again at any moment. "We won't be doing your wife a lot of good if this bastard slits our throats while we sleep. I wouldn't put it past him to actually be working for the whole damned lot of the Thalmor, either. Especially given how much he is claiming about knowing so much about the keep. Just let me kill him. It won't take but a minute."

"Don't waste the kill, Sverr, it's not worth it. Even if he is working for the Thalmor, having inside information on the fort now that Bruynzeel is gone would be useful don't you think? I agree with you on many accounts, but he doesn't even deserve your pity to die." Leilani spoke up, still hollow eyed from her current loss. All she wanted to focus on now was helping Edwyn get the group going on the journey yet again.

"You're saying death is too good for him?" Sverr snorted. "Hmph, I don't believe that nonsense. The only good Bosmer is a de..." There was a pause from the mass of armor, then a weary sigh. He looked away from Esset and crossed his arms. Some kind of shift had occurred in Sverr's mood because he suddenly seemed more calm but also more alert in a way. "Probably best that I don't kill him. If it has to be done, then someone else should do it. If not, well, I'll go along with whatever everyone else decides, but he just better stay away from me. The further, the better."

The Nord's words made something click into place inside Circe's head. She had been quiet for the journey, not reacting when Bruynzeel had told her she looked nice in the sun, or even when the Elf had insulted her over being a Vampire. Circe's eyes flooded their new, unusual red behind the invention over her eyes and she walked over to the Elf-assassin.

"Well if no one else is going to do anything about this bastard, I will." She said with a thick growl.

Dagger in hand, she came to the Elf's side, and thrust the metal into his upper arm. Tearing muscle and breaking bone, blood began to gush from the wound. A wicked smile had taken centre stage on Circe's face and her fangs were in full view. She left the dagger in the man's arm, happy to let him pull it from his body, and then kicked him to the floor.

"Insult me, or anyone in this group again, and I will cut you up piece by piece and eat you. I don't care how many dam spiders you summon! I don't care how many bloody assassins come after me! I will not tolerate your bullplops today!"

With that, Circe let out a loud sigh and fell to her knees. Here eyes were hazel once more and the wicked smile was gone from her face.

(OOC: sorry about the brutal post. I haven't been receiving alerts for this thread or the OOC thread so I have only just caught up. Is Bruynzeel really dead?!)

Bruynzeel's connection to Dabney lost in the Music boxes influence. Restless to return to the others he calls for a few healing potions and some other supplies. Taking a potion he redresses in his armor.

Picks up the music box, opening it a soulful tune plays slow and melodic. He is warmed and secure. The incident of his fear washed from him. In his mind he knows they will not effect him nearly as bad in the future.

He writes instructions for Edwyns farm. And Takes time to settle some of his own household business. Then goes outside and loads his gear onto his horse Chance. Mounts her, and rides toward the western edge of the bridge he left his companions at.

"Circe." Leilani snapped, walking up to her and grabbing her by the shirt and pulling her close. She looked her deep in the eyes, not in a way that was sticking up for the assassin on the floor. She inwardly commended Circe's efforts for the strike. "You aren't the leader of this damn journey. Edwyn said don't kill him." Leilani looked her deep in the eyes. "Besides he may become useful. People change over time." The last words were cryptic as she was referencing to their former conversation for her to play on. The wolf in her eyes locked deep into Circe's soul with no fear. The deeper she looked, the more Circe could see of her spirit's form, and she could see the massive white wolf licking its shark like set of jaws thinking about how delicious she would taste. Leilani flashed her own eyes forward, just as intimidating, but then her eyes began to glow as she kicked deep into Circe's mind breaking down all barriers by force she had set up. "You can't just show off now." Leilani snarled, with a snap, telepathically. She then let go of Circe, and she turned away walking back to her horse, gripping the way with tense muscles, and she made her way off following Edwin. When she had time alone with Circe again, which wouldn't be any time soon, she would explain more of what she meant.

As Circe walked away from the assassin, leaving him to bleed out when she was grabbed by Leilani.

"Circe." The Nord said, pulling her close. The Vampire didn't try to resist, she simply allowed Leilani to look deep into her eyes. She knew the fire and the rage inside of them wouldn't scare her off. You aren't the leader of this damn journey. Edwyn said don't kill him.Besides he may become useful. People change over time."

Circe knew that the woman meant more that those simple words implied, but she didn't bother trying to understand. Instead, she simply let her eyes flood crimson and looked deep into Leilani's eyes as she pressed further in her own. Circe could see a wolf, a large wolf with white fur and strange symbols across it's body. It licked it's lips and it moved further into her mind, when it suddenly hit a wall of flames. The Vampire's barrier that protected her thoughts from the likes of Leilani. For a moment the wolf halted and looked at the flames, analysing them. Then, out of nowhere there was a massive surge of power. Circe could feel anger from the Nord woman outside of the astral realm and she realised that the wall of flames protecting her mind were gone. You can't just show off now."

In an instant Leilani was gone. Circe's flames ignited once more and the Nord began to walk off with her horse. Bitch, Circe thought, how dare she!

"You don't know when to stop do you Leilani!" The Vampire called to her as she rode off. "Peoples minds aren't toys! You can't go and invade them whenever you get angry. Ride off of a cliff why don't you, do me a favour."

Circe's rage was hotter than it had ever been before. Her eyes were that of flowing magma, her fists were tensed and her aura was so hot that Leilani would no doubt feel it. She looked at the assassin who still lay on the floor and hissed at him before walking off.

Leilani had not mounted her horse, she only grabbed the reins to pull him along because one of his shoes as previous expressed to her by Bruynzeel need to be fixed at their next stop. She listened to Circe who yelled at her back, giving away the fact that she could read minds. "You don't know when to stop do you Leilani!" The Vampire called to her as she walked off. "Peoples minds aren't toys! You can't go and invade them whenever you get angry. Ride off of a cliff why don't you, do me a favour." She thought to herself for a moment about what she said, shaking her head and then turning back to Circe. She let go of the reins, and then stormed back to the vampire pushing her. "You want to mess with me Circe?!" She snarled outwardly, her wolf coming through as her astral form began to fire up in a lime green aura that was toxic when it surrounded others. It gave a light boiling sensation to her opponent's skin that got worse and worse depending upon Leilani's whim. "You really think that I was saying that just to be a fluffing bitch?! You're completely wrong! And I have left your mind alone from the start! Don't tell me what I can and can't do, Circe. I respect people's privacy but obviously you don't pay attention so you wouldn't see that." She pushed her again. Angry. Eyes glowing and centered directly on the woman. If there was to be a fight, then she would have it. Her fists tightened together. She wasn't thinking as clearly now that she thought Bruynzeel was gone. She was full of hatred, and when Leilani was angry, that was a bad bad thing.

"You want to mess with me Circe?!" Leilani said as she stormed towards Circe. "You really think that I was saying that just to be a f***ing bitch?! You're completely wrong! And I have left your mind alone from the start! Don't tell me what I can and can't do, Circe. I respect people's privacy but obviously you don't pay attention so you wouldn't see that."

"Oh yeah! I'm sure breaking down my mental barriers was out of respect for my privacy wasn't it? I don't care if you went into my thoughts or my memories or not, that is crossing the line."

Circe looked into Leilani's eyes as they grew angrier. Her own eyes were already crimson and she stood firm when the Nord pushed her. Circe took one hand and pushed Leilani back in retaliation. She was not intimidated by Leilani, and similarly, Leilani was not intimidated by her. Two extremely strong willed women, each with equally matched powers.

"You really want to fight me over an assassin? He will probably have a knife to your throat by the end of this mission!" Circe looked the woman up and down. "Besides, your not worth my time."

The Vampire spat on the floor in front of Leilani and began walking off down the road. The two of them had been so close back at the farm, things had changed so quickly. Circe knew that Leilani was not normal, and she was sure she knew what she was. If the who of them got into a fight it could easily result in death, and it was uncertain which one of them would be the winner.

Leilani blocked out all of what she had said the moment that she spat on the ground in front of her. She watched this like it was in slow motion, anger boiling to a point that she couldn't hold back. Leilani was shaking as she tightened her fists digging her nails into the skin on her palm drawing blood. She closed her eyes, taking in a deep exhale, not allowing herself to change in front of all of these outsiders. But she spit at her. And so anger won, but not enough to make her change, and she ran off after Circe jumping into the air gracefully and pulling her to the ground. Leilani gripped into her, tight, as though she had her talons out which she didn't and pulled her face close to Circe's. She lifted an arm, and she slapped the girl hard across her cheek. If she was going to be in her pack, eventually, she was going to know who was alpha. Leilani allowed the thought to cross her mind continuously as she wondered what Lady Dabney saw in this....vampire.

Leilani had her mouth open, pearly whites flashed as though it was her werewolf set of jaws, and her wolf eyes glaring deep into Circe's. She growled with a snap, speaking in an intimidating voice that was soft spoken, "If you ever spit at me again, I will personally see to it that you become my next meal. I bet your brain is delicious." Leilani then licked her lips. She shook Circe, and then got off of her, wolven heart pounding fast and shaking from adrenaline. Her astral lime green flames diminished, as she pulled Circe up from the ground and stood her on her feet. She kept glaring as she unsheathed her blades from her side, and she gripped them tight as she kept her eyes on Circe. "The assassin is nothing to me. He wouldn't even last a second if he tried. That's why I don't care. You can keep having attitude if you want, and you can fight me, or we can forget about this and move on."

Circe brushed herself down and stared daggers towards Leilani. Her rage was still intense and she suddenly began to feel faint. It was as if she had been breathing so heavily that she had burned up too much oxygen. She moved towards Leilani slightly as she continued to threaten Circe.

"The assassin is nothing to me. He wouldn't even last a second if he tried. That's why I don't care. You can keep having attitude if you want, and you can fight me, or we can forget about this and move on."

Circe firsts were still clenched, but they began to loose their strength. Her legs began to feel weak and she was forced to take a step backwards.
Kill her! A voice said in the back of her head. Kill her now!
You're the voice that I spoke to in my dream last night, who are you? Circe spoke in her mind.
It doesn't matter, kill her or I will!
No! She is my friend, why do you want her dead?
Circe felt her body grow even weaker. She took another step backwards, but managed to keep her posture.
Take my strength and kill her!
The Vampires body suddenly grew very hot. The heat was intense and her eyes almost burst and they grew even hotter. She took a step forward with her new-found strength, and a wicked smile was plastered across her face. She moved quicker than lighting in front of Leilani and raised a hand to put it on her shoulder. But, suddenly, her legs gave way and she crumpled to the ground.

"No." The Imperial managed before her eyes rolled back into her head and she entered a fit.

"There is something inside her, I can feel it." The wolf snarled to the angry Leilani. Leilani watched Circe fall to the ground and struggle between herself, and whatever it was that was trying to possess her and fight back. Then she collapsed. Leilani sheathed her weapons. The wolf guardian inside of Leilani felt uneasy and the lime green flames around her grew once more in abundance. Just for protection's sake. She sighed when Circe had finally collapsed with closed eyes, and then she moved towards her picking the girl up into her arms. She whistled to boots, and the horse trotted over standing close by. Leilani lifted Circe over the saddle, and she secured her body so that while the horse would move she wouldn't fall off or have to worry about her too much. She wasn't sure what else to do, because as she looked into the distance the others were getting further away. Leilani made sure she was safe and comfortable, and then grabbed Boot's reins as she clicked to him to speed up while she headed off after them.

Bruynzeel on Chance made good time up the valley. As he approached the bridge he could just see the troupe crossing to this side. Not quite in DragonBridge proper yet. He spurred Chance to more speed.

Bruynzeels connection with Dabney was lost which is why Leilani could no longer feel him. The Music box, Dorians Box had severed the connection. Returning him to his original path as thrall to the box. Again he was Bruynzeel the wanderer. His thoughts of a life of leisure had faded, he was again assured of purpose. But he already knew of one he would have to stop.

Among his packed items was a new lute and the music of Dorians box would help him in his efforts to exorsise these demonic forces. The only tool he lacked was the name of the daedra itself. And most daedra being quite narcasistic tended to give that up rather easily.

The box demanded only one thing for its gift of longlife. That was someone of purpose. And someone that wanted that purpose so bad as to always look for the next task. They had to love the work. He was also confident again in the path of stopping the rights violations of the Thalmor. His faith in a path assured comforted him too.

But changed his heart. He would never be able to settle for anything less. Like the Ronin he had gotten the dull grey wooden box from. That ronin had saved Bruynzeel from posession but at the cost of his life. Bruynzeel freed from the influence of that Daedra had pleaded to take up the Ronins cause. To pay back the evils he had commited in his early days away from his family. For Bruynzeel had been eager to make a independant name for himself when young aka deadly deal for magic. He sought out battles to prove his new powers. He had been a dark force killing hundreds in the name of the false honor of fame and power. Fear had been a great ally, he wielded it so well he scared himself.

That was when the Ronin had found him. Challenging him. And in victory was defeated.

Bruynzeel finally nears hearing range of the group.

Anger still riled up inside of her. She looked down to Circe, and furrowed her brows. The wolf inside Leilani's mind was pacing back and forth, and from the moment she lost connection with Bruynzeel; Leilani felt like there was nothing to live for. Anger made the lime green flames surrounding her body shoot up even more. Her heart was pounding, and all of a sudden she stopped moving. Leilani's eyes flashed between the wolf and herself, gripping her fists tight and letting go of the reins. Her horse caught wind of her struggle from natural intuition, and it trotted off towards the others carrying Circe away landing on Edwyn's side. All of the same supplies and unconscious Circe remained.

Leilani let out a loud yell pulling her hands to her head, shaking her head as the wolf inside of her was howling words in Debnic which were too fast for her to understand. All of a sudden, she was shrouded in a cloud of darkness as her body twisted and turned in awkward directions. "I can't hold back the hunger now, Leilani." The wolf said, forming her actual lips to the words, and white fur began to coarse over her body ripping the armor she had as it flung off of her during this transformation. Stretching out her large, werewolf limbs, and lowering on all fours, Leilani cancelled out the shroud of darkness as she emitted n echoing growl. She then took off, jutting down the mountain path at such a speed that not even a steep slope could make her fall. She kept running and running with an image of Riverwood in mind. The image of harvest. The image of the Ula Sanctuary. Her wolf had taken over, angry, for she was weak from heartache and had lost control. She was gone.

Cheyanne having stayed with the group walking beside Boots, watching over the unconscious form of Circe. Starts to yip and bark hearing the approaching horse. Then runs in the direction of the swift approaching Bruynzeel.

As she nears "Hello girl, miss me did you?" Cheyanne continues yipping and barking and wagging her tail so hard she appears to be trying to run sideways. Relaxed and reveling in the unabashed love of his loyal pet Bruynzeel laughs heartily. "Good girl Chey, Good girl."

They continue on returning to the group. Bruynzeel from the back of the horse has a good view of the surrounding area and looking doesn't see Leilani. A few notes play in his mind and he forgets that she was there. "Well met friends and companions." unmounts from the horse and goes over to Boots inspects Circe "What happened here?"

Edwyn was still just staring into nowhereland when Bruynzeel came back riding on his horse. He asked what had happened with the group. "Well Bruynzeel, Circe stabbed the assassin in the shoulder. Then Circe and Leilani had a bit of an argument. Circe out of nowhere collapses to the ground so Leilani ties her up to her horse. Then Leilani turns into a werewolf and I'm pretty sure she's on her way to Riverwood. There. There's a summary. And no, I have no idea why any of that happened."
