So I heard this rumor about a leak from Bethesda. Apparently the game will be called Argonia and come out next year.
Could someone please confirm this?!?!?

Well we had:
Morrowind- Dunmer
Cyrodiil- Imperials/All Races
Skyrim- Nords

Personally I'm thinking Hammerfell (although TES already had the spin-off Redguard) since the predominant population is human and with the resistance going on in Hammerfell makes for a great future setting. Personally though I would love to it take place in Black Marsh or Elsweyr, something different where the predominant population is not human or elven. High Rock would also be fairly interesting and TES lacks for dominant Breton characters (usually Dunmer, Imperial, Nord or Redguard).

That's exactly what I had in mind as well. I would love it if the next game took place in either Black Marsh or Elsweyr, a place were the majority of the population contained beast races with small packs of men roaming the lands. Personally, I really hope it takes place in kitty-land, haha.

Ah, I guess we'll see soon enough, eh?

Alinor and Valenwood would be interesting as i expect that the Thalmor would play a much more bigger role. If not, Hammerfell is another interesting place since a 2nd invasion of Hammerfell might occur. It would also be interesting how life in Hammerfell is after their cities were burnt down during the Great war.

i read that rumor too. i remembered how rumours circulated evereywhere about skyrim months before it's release date, and i'm guessing that argonia is gonna be the same.

I'd like a combination of regions to be considered. The capabilities should be possible, and mods are out there that combine Oblivion with Skyrim, so this should be possible too right?
I just hope they think of combining two regions together if any. I want to actually feel what it's like to travel from place to place.

I think Todd Howard and his team will shock as all by announcing that The Elder Scrolls VI doesn't take place in Tamriel at all; it will instead give us our first look at the mysterious contintent of Akavir. I think with the Elder Scrolls Online covering most regions of Tamriel, going back to any one of them would feel repetitive.

I can't find my post in this thread anymore so I'll post a new one :3.

I actually voted for all of Tamriel now but now I change my thought. I actually want the setting to be in Elsweyr now not only because if they make all of Tamriel, it won't be detailed as when they single provinces but also I like the idea of exploring jungles within Southern Elsweyr and sitting on the coast, near where Leyawin used to be :D.

I ain't great, but killed enough to get by
it took a lot of thought, but Elsweyr wins out. I remember talking to a Khajiit caravan trader on Skyrim, asking about Elsweyr, and being told of ancient cities buried in the sands of the desert. It may not come to be, but a man can dream.

I have two options:
-Either elsweyr, may because of the fans's demanding and because it would really make for a great game.

-Or Akaviri, though that's more improbable. Think about it, Akaviri is as big as Tamriel, and it also host tons of mysterious races with apparently awesome cultures. It'd be just so cool!!

Akaviri is highly unlikely, but I want to go explore those ancient cities of Else-where :D!

If they do open up that side of Nirn, it would be amazing. Players will now be introduced to a whole different place. It'd be pretty interesting

I think Valenwood might be fun on two conditions.
1. We get to witness a wild hunt.
2. Said wild hunt is a part of liberating them from the Thalmor.

I want to explore the rest of good ole' Tam before moving over to other continents.

I really want to visit some exotic places. Like the blackmarsh.

However knowing Bethesda they probably looked at everyone's theories and did something completely off the wall. That being said the rumored "Skyrim 2" and "Argonia" are probably bs. Expect something like valenwood or (fingers crossed) elswhyre (However it's spelled

This might be a stupid question so apologies if it is, but... has Bethesda actually confirmed or given any indication at all that they're even making another TES game?

They kinda have. Their spokesman said TESVI would take a few years, so it's pretty obvious they're going to make it, but haven't started.
Also, they can cancel at any point so...

To my knowledge they haven't. Or they have. Idk. Its odd. Depends who you believe.

However, TES V was so huge. Every game it grows and grows. More people played oblivion over marrowind and skyrim more then oblivion.

With the rate their going. They would be dumb to ignore TES VI. Many fans want it. Many fans crave it. Including myself.

It just doesn't make sense for them to ignore it. Plus TES is Tod Howards (lead programmer of TES and fallout) baby.

Considering all of this is almost guaranteed they will make it. Unless someone from Zenimax shuts it down.

I just read That there are plans and it's set in Black Marsh. Don't know how true that is though.

However, if Bethesda is smart they will end the series on a high note, much like comedy shows like Seinfeld.

If they end the series at its peak it will leave a lasting legacy in gaming in my opinion. If they progress a lot farther than that they will be at risk of slipping, causing fans to become... well, let's just say they will be more than a little miffed.

I'd say two more games, three at most if I was them. I hope they don't end up like the AC series. That would be a tragedy indeed.

However they have a dedicated team so hats off to that and wishing them lots of luck on the next game. Which leads to this....

I just read That there are plans and it's set in Black Marsh. Don't know how true that is though.

They haven't officially confirmed that. And that rumor was spread ages ago and was debunked I believe. I personally wouldn't mind it being in blackmarsh, however with the Thalmor playing a huge role in Skyrim, I'd personally like to visit Alinor/Summerset Isles. It would be VERY interesting to see the culture over there and what the Thalmor/Aldmeri Dominions side of things are like.

I think it will be in Elsewyr, because it looks like an interesting place. Even if there are kittens (lol) and not humans. But there are also chances it will be in Summerset Isles.
