I was one of those people that waited in line at midnight launch for Skyrim when it was released. At the time, I didn't have an Xbox 360 so I got it for my PS3. Everyone knows about the problems on that console and I wasn't spared. It was very frustrating but I still managed to enjoy the game. I must have played the game from beginning to end five different times and had fun each time, despite the PS3 problems. A month ago I traded in my PS3 copy of Skyrim and believed my Skyrim playing days were over.
Well three months ago I bought a new Xbox 360 and just last week decided to buy Skyrim and the Dawnguard dlc. I picked up both for $11 at Gamestop thanks to trading in a couple of games. Well, there must have been several patches released since I played, because I immediately noticed some new killing animations on all the weapons and killing animations with archery and magic, very cool. I was pleased. Then all the goodies that Dawnguard added. I am having a lot of fun again. Also, I don't want to spark a console war, but I swear the graphics look better than what I remember from playing it on my PS3.
