What's everyone's favorite spells to use and how do you use them. For example sometimes I cast invisibility to cloak myself around enemies, cast a rune on the ground and draw the attention of my enemies to the trap. What do you like to do with your spells?

I like muffle and fire rune. I tend to use muffle to get past my enemies and then summon a fire rune right under their feet. Afterwards I keep summoning them until they die or I run out of mana.

Dead thrall is a handy spell to have and can be pretty fun to use. Ya know, resurrecting a bandit chief to fight for you. Oh and fire ball, its a nice reliable spell I use throughout all my playthroughs.

I like repel undead. Turn undead is good too, but repel has a wider range so you don't have to aim carefully, and it affects multiple targets, and I love seeing the pretty glow effect on draugr when they run around crapping themselves. And it's also a spell that is safe to use around followers, so I don't have to worry if one of my companions clumsily walks into the line of fire.

id say master shock destruction spell. Looks like beam *.* AWESOME
Then, cloack spells. I realy like them, give u kind of a "mystireously powerful aura" impresion. Have it ready in case close combat becomes unavoidable for my mage. Then it would come mayhem. Huge range, affects Deathlords too (with master of the mind perk ofc)! Combine it with invisibility, and safely run away in case they keep chasing u after u cast the spell. Then u can watch em fight, and finish em off.
Then, id say wall spells (yes i rly like many spells xdd,) Tought of interesting way to torture ppl. This is combo: Paralize -> Wall of fire -> Wall of frost -> Wall of shock. As a result, ull gain some kind of White Flames Wall xdd
When i first did this on thalmor solider, on legendary, his hp was running out rly quick, poor elvish egoist didnt even get a chance to get up.

My most favorite and most often used would have to be Fireball. I especially love the kill cams it gets.
My second favorite spells would be all three of the Conjuration spells you get from the Soul Cairn. You know, Summon Boneman, Summon Mistman, Summon Wrathman. They're pretty low magicka cost to cast and can last as long if not longer as an Atronach with appropriate perks, not to mention they kick some serious ass once summoned, even more so once perked up.
Combine any of those three summons with an ice Destruction spell, which they're resistant to, and you end up with a lot of damage per second.
Or if you summon a Dremora Lord and use a fire Destruction spell, which they're resistant to, you get the same effect.
I love doing those things. :) And of course the Boneman Archer summon is a great one to use when fighting dragons and you need some extra firepower. That's fun to do as well.

Bound Sword for me, drop some perk points into Conjuration and One Handed and it becomes a pretty handy tool, especially against summoned Daedra.

I like the bound weapon ones too, mainly on characters that are doing enchanting. I get the soul stealer perk, buy piles of petty soul gems, and snipe wolves until they're all full.

On one recent character, I hit a really weird bug. I searched a draugr chest and found a black soul gem. Nice, right!? I cleaned out the chest and for some reason was trudging. I checked my inventory, and somehow had 1024 black soul gems! You can bet I trudged all the way back to Lakeview, stowed them keeping fifty, and going back whenever I needed to to trade out. Then I spent hours clearing bandit camps while dual-wielding bound sword/dagger (I cheat and console up the book for that one, because I think it's stupid that a novice spell isn't available until the late stages of a high level zone). I was TRAINING enchanting with black souls like they were petty! I know that, realistically, if I wanted to I could easily console up all the gems I want, but I try to keep it honest. If the game glitches and hands me a trove though, I'm not going to turn it down!

I love to use Fire Rune.. so very handy. But only if you're on your own. Not so good with followers. Oh and don't accidentally set one on the ground in Whiterun with the "Enhanced Cities" Mod.. all the chickens flock to it like....chickens to corn. BOOM! BOCGERKKKK!!!

I love doing that. I also get the Sanguine rose and give it to my follower, who I equip with Daedric armor. One second there are two of us, and the next there are five. :D

I've always found destruction magic to be kind of ...meh...in this game, so I tend not to use much of it. I've tried other play styles and I always seem to come back to 1H melee and conjuration, since it's easier for me to drop an atronach and let it shoot the bad guys, while I slash away at them. Once my conjuration is high enough, then it's Dremora Lords and still slashing away.

If I do use any destruction, it's usually a modded wisp volley spell. It's a triple ice spike that costs less and hits harder. The only thing I change is that it takes a long time to charge, so I drop it to zero charge time and usually spam it with both hands. It's like having an ice machine gun. :D

How do you backstab a Dragon?

Personally I have almost no use for conjuration. Unless I'm playing on the higher difficulties, it's pointless. Just take too long to come in to existence for me.

Besides, 99% of the time I'm a sneaker so there's no use in it. I'll stick with ice-spears or lightning, silent cast, invisibility and muffle.
