Indeed it is. Thought it'd give an impression of the size, yet looking now the mug appears smaller, due to the angle, or something.
I don't drink alcohol, so I'd better leave this thread
I do however, drink tea or coffee, and sometimes water when I play video games.
A pattern it is. I am a supporter of the great armies of the Chiefs and the Royals. I do not support the college of the State of K, as it were, but this dwelling is inhabited by one who claims that allegiance. That's some fine craftsmanship. Where'd you get those? Solitude? Dragonsreach?
Do I spy a KC Chiefs logo in the background? And a mini Kansas State football helmet? And a Royals mini batting helmet? I'm beginning to see a pattern here.
I don't always drink vodka, but when I do, I prefer Ciroc.Because the post is titled Skyrim with ale, I'll start with beer, though for any of the drinks I would say picking a favourite would be impossible because every time I say "I think this is my favourite", someone says "But what about ....."
So, some of the beers I like. I don't drink these all of the time but they stand out
Theakston's Old Peculiar
Ossett Brewery Treacle Stout
Saltaire Triple Chocoholic
If I want something refreshing, Asahi Dry if I can get hold of it.
Spirits.
Whisky - Well, I am a self confessed whisky nerd, and my preference is for single malts. I started 30 years ago making a list of different ones I try. The problem is that it has developed to the point where I sometimes have to think twice when I see the price. I have found 3 I don't like though - lol
Gin - I don't like gin and I don't like tonic, but put them together around 1/3 to 2/3 and give me Hendricks Gin and it'll do
Vodka - Currently have a liking for Ciroc, a not particularly cheap vodka. But if you have someone round with a grain intolerance, this is made with grapes. Drink it neat
I'm going to stop there before it seems I'm an alcoholic
I like where this is going. When I play the game I often find drinks on slain bandits, and of course my character promptly consumes whatever it is right there. That could be another opportunity to take a drink while playing. That, and after a good battle or series of battles, for instance the end of a dungeon or the finale of a particularly heated Briarheart skirmish.I'm more of a social drinker, Jack Daniel's or Dom Perignon tastes perfect. Besides, this thread gave me an idea - when meeting friends we once did a drinking game; we watched Finding Nemo and every time someone said "Nemo" everyone had to drink a little - needless to say we were pretty drunk that night. I wonder if that technique could be used while playing Skyrim, like anytime someone says "Skyrim" you gotta drink. I'll give it a try.
