How do you backstab a Dragon?
Okay. I've said it.

Oh! And I hate PvP.

That's out of the way. Now I can move on.

Thank you for your attention.

You and me both! I've tried:
EvE
ESO
TOR
Wow
SWG
STO

...and every one of them failed to hold my interest longer than a few days. I'm not sure what it is, but there is something about MMOs that means I'm never fully engaged

I like MMOs but single-player RPGs are much better! The likes of ESO, WoW etc can never compare to a modded Skyrim :)!

To each their own I guess, but I love ESO. I don't make the mistake of comparing MMOs to Single Player titles, considering they are two different approaches to gameplay.

Oh, I agree, but, I figured I'd give it a shot. Unfortunately, ESO is a huge disappointment to me. 90% of the people I've run in to are immature psycopaths that want nothing more than to gank you or humiliate you. Also, while I do have full mic capabilities, I can't stand either talking to or listening to them, and that turns me off from even talking to fellow guild mates.

Oh well. I'm saving ESO to play as a single player as a psycho that just goes around killing everyone and everything. Frankly, I couldn't care less about any of the factions or whether or not my "side" wins. (You might have guessed that I'm not much of a "team player" and certainly could not care less if I am the best - I have no competitive instincts other than destroying you if you piss me off :)).

At least I have the only other ES game on record in my collection.

I do have to say that I do like the customization options in ESO. Those are pretty boss. Not as good as Dragon's Dogma or Dragon Age, but still, pretty boss.

I keep wondering in ESO why EVERYBODY has to be a magic user. From reading the forums, apparently it is just not possible to simply play a melee character. You have to use some sort of magic. Everybody does, absolutely everybody, including Nords that wouldn't usually use it, just to survive (particularly in the PvP sections or once you've reached V levels).

I know right? It's almost impossible to be a stealthy or melee class in PvP ESO.

Well no, I don't know where you heard that lol. I'm a Nord Dragonknight and I can tank atleast 3 people by myself in PvP without breaking a sweat. Mix that in with the bow and poison injection, and they don't stand a chance.

PvP is entirely optional though, and it's ONLY in Cyrodiil.

Last note on the subject for me.

Levels 1-50 were already too hard most of the time for me on ESO and now they've upped the difficulty for everybody.

I'm out. I haven't the time for that much suffering. I'm married.

It really depends on the game. But yeah, when it comes to online games racing is really the only type of PvP that didn't make me want to just uninstall the whole game (although Black Desert Online has quite a good design; never played PvP there though).
If you're up for some Manga-style horseracing action Alicia Online is your game - and getting across the finish line 1st from a total of 8 racers isn't quite as impossible as getting hundreds of people organized so you won't end up as cannon fodder.

One tip - if you ever play Tera, stay away from the PvP. It's so laggy you'll be dead before you know it.
