Skyrim has little secrets to us all, maybe some of us haven't tried that particular guild or that particular quest. In my case, all I've left to do is the main questline, which has never attracted me much.

But what do you do when Skyrim runs out of surprises and trhill? Well, either you get mods or you make builds, or both!

So start posting mods to your hearts content so that I or someone else try it and have some more fun with Skyrim!

Perhaps it's the lore that keeps me coming back at this point. I can't simply make builds, they have to be woven into the fabric somehow, if that makes any sense. Once I come up with an idea for a character it all becomes thrilling again.

So, you could do what I did. Choose an ancient hero from lore and have your character be the reincarnated version of that hero. Keep a journal from their perspective as they slowly come to terms with who and what they are.

Or just get some more mods. I imagine those are great fun. :beermug:

Hmm sounds pretty interesting. I was wondering how cool it could be to play a necromancer(never played, I know, shame on me).

But just one question, how do you put the ritual stone "on" the aetherium crown?

Well.. step one is to get the crown, of course!

In any case - once you have it, go to the ritual stone and use it.

Next, go to any other stone that you want (I like the Lord myself), put on the crown and use it.

You'll end up with the Lord stone on yourself and the ritual stone on the crown.

Me, I just remove the crown then and keep it in inventory until I'm going to use it.

Another method I've used is to either use a Penatus Helmet or a Falmer Helmet and enchant those. That way, you can wear your helmet and use the crown at the same time. Otherwise, you need to take the crown off to use your helmet.

Alternatively, you can just keep the crown on all the time, but, honestly, how often do you actually do all that much raising.

Interestingly though, while the Ritual Stone is only supposed to be once a day, I've found, on all my playthroughs when I use it, that, it resets itself when you take it off and put it back on so you can do the Ritual any number of times (I've even had the same thing happen with the Cursed Ring on a few playthroughs).

JMT's. :)

Thanks for the explanation, guess I know what to do for my new playtrhough. I'm going to become a badass necromancer, do all daedric quests and exterminate all settlements.
Hell yeah!!(more hell than yeah),

Be sure to read the Living With The Dead thread. There's is great info there about being a kicka** necro!

It's one of my favorite builds to do, even when I'm not doing pure necro (or any other necro except the stone for that matter).

Once you get it - here's a fun one - if you haven't done the Companion's questline - do it until you go all the way through Dustman's Cairn and, once you've taken out the many, many drauger in the last room, use the stone's power. For the next while you'll be followed around by a hoard of drauger! It's a hoot and there's like 20 of them.

Another fun one is to raise a bunch of wolves and spiders and bears (I usually find quite a group on the road to Dawnstar) and then lead them to a giant camp and watch the havoc happen.

Sorry - you've got me off on a tangent now! I'm playing ESO for the last couple of days, but my Altmer Mage is calling me! She's got a thing for dead guys. :)
