Closest thing I can have to beer is rootbeer. And even then it's only once a month.

But pssssssh, I don't need beer or any alcohol.

Cuz I drink tea.....

I enjoy a fine ale such as budweiser (NOT BUD LIGHT) or some good ol PBR, LOL. im not too uppity about my beers, i do enjoy micro brews and craft beers, along with imports - but you just cant beat the classics you grew up around. my dad always had atleast ONE bud or PBR in the fridge, and when i turned 13 he let me have a couple :D

I also like taking a huge swig of whiskey and/or scotch (i like blending Jack and Glenlivet) these days while gaming. Dont need to drink as much as you would with beer to get that warm, fuzzy, loose feeling :p

Nothing like getting blitzed and charging into caves/dungeons, or even cities, with the difficulty on legendary swinging your blades like a mad man, FUSRODAH-ing everyone in sight without thinking of the later consequences :p

I agree wholeheartedly! Charging into fierce combat accompanied by the warm feeling of a few ales or swigs of liquor, the battle song was never sweeter. :beermug: Some would call me "uppity," as you say, about my beers, (most say that I drink "weird beers" because it's not a bud or a coors or a miller), but a local tavern has a tap of PBR from which pours pints for a mere 200 pennies that I partake in. But I do have limits. My brother used to stop me from drinking out of his stash simply by supplying it with Milwaukee's Best Ice. Horrible stuff!

But if yer having Glenlivet, by the nine don't blend it with anything! :beermug:

Gonna have some most tasty brew from the New Belgium brewmeisters tonight called Rampant. It's an Imperial IPA, with its ABV clocking in at 8.5%. Nectar. Of. The. Gods. :beermug::)
Earlier this week I consumed New Belgium Trippel. Tis my favorite from them. It's about 8%

It's my opinion that Belgium Abbey ales are the best ales created. Due to their price, I don't often drink them. Gulden Draak is probably my favorite of all. Necter indeed. :beermug:

I like Glenlivet straight, but the burps it gives me taste horrible, mixing it with Jack makes the burps taste kinda fruity lol, so its bearable.

As long as it gets me drunk lol

Nopes, I'm a tea and water drinker myself. As a high elf who craves civility to the extreme, I like my head and sinuses clear on behalf of my kingdom. And after that hangover with Sam and his staff...

Too young to drink in real life.

You seem a decent fellow. I hate to die.
Keep forgetting to give some props to my "location." Used to rock absinthe for a while. I live in the States and I'd get it shipped in from France. Gets kinda pricey as you can imagine, which is why it's been some time since I've had some.

As far as the aficionados go, there's a certain way to drink it, involves some sugar if I remember right. But I just drink it straight. Fill either a shooter or shot glass and sip it. Guaranteed minty fresh breath after the first sip! :D Warm and fuzzy after a few more sips. <3

This week, I'll abstain from ale entirely, focusing instead on maintaining battle-ready condition. Unfortunately, training and ale don't mix, and the job I'm soon to be hired for is of a highly rigorous nature. Once I've achieved my goals of ultimate mightiness, the ale will be all the more glorious in reward. :beermug:

I've experienced absinth a few times in the past. Tis a powerful serum of inebriation, but it's reputation as a hallucinogen is unfounded. With the exception of the first time, I didn't bother with burning a cube of sugar on the special spoon and all that. I'd just add a small amount of ice-cold water, and proceed to enjoy the cloudy goodness. :beermug:

Yeah, me, too with the sugar. Thought I'd give it a go the first time or so, cuz you never know what you might be missing, right? Ah, no. After that, no more sugar. Agreed. Drinking it never made me hallucinate. Well, any more than my normal amount. ;):D Did you see that?!

A glorious night of gaming with fine ale! Only the best ales are suitable to drink with games such as Skyrim and Oblivion. Choose to drink the cheapest of lagers and pilsners, (90% of Americans), you'll find yourself jogging to the receptacle 3 or 4 times per hour, and ensuring yourself a headquake upon the morn.

Pictured here is my drinking vessel of choice, handcrafted by Capn. Goldtooth himself. I purchase one of these each year at the KC Renfest. Have all shapes and colors. This one holds about 30 oz. The Paulaner Salvator Dopplebock is my favorite German ale. Strong, at about 8%, double amber. The other is Maudite by Unibroue, (of Quebec), and I highly recommend it. A strong Belgium amber ale, also 8%. Both ales must be poured into a glass to be at their best, but the Maudite in particular explodes like Red Mountain when poured, so watch out!

Here's another one. Tis for all intents and purposes, a pitcher. You can't tell due to the lighting, but the pitcher is gloss midnight blue and black with brown accents.

And another, a true behemoth of a goblet. Unfortunately, this one's retired as a drinking vessel due to a fracture incurred during a move. Bottle cap has been placed for scale. Imagine the looks and inquiries I receive as I walk the Renfest with one of these, filled with ale or mead. :beermug:

That's some fine craftsmanship. Where'd you get those? Solitude? Dragonsreach? :D

Do I spy a KC Chiefs logo in the background? And a mini Kansas State football helmet? And a Royals mini batting helmet? I'm beginning to see a pattern here. :beermug::D
