Walls of Destruction LIES!!!!!

................ so I'm quite frusterated due to my mage accounts constantly having bugs over and over.... this is my 5th mage account I've recreated and quickly getting sick of having to always start over..... my other accounts are just fine.....

I got my Destruction up to level 75 again and bought the Wall of Flames, Frost, and Storms and they all just act like their weaker brother spells as in doing exactly the same plops with not sticking to surfaces... flames sparks and frostbite....

I reloaded save before I got to level 75 Destruction and bought the levels from Faralda now for the 4th time... and i've also reloaded saves for right before buying the spells and it's still the same fluffing outcome.......... ><

any ideas how to fix this? I dont know if it's a bug or not.... Maybe I have to be wearing expert level robes for it to work or clothes that I've enchanted for it to work.... i really dont know....

It's supposed to do that, bro. The only difference is that the wall spells stay on the surface and do DoT to anyone standing on the aftermath.

I know thats whats suppose to happen.... thing is though.... its just the same plops as flames, frostbite and sparks cause they dont leave a fluffing wall that stays on the surface......

It's necessarily a wall. It's just like you're setting the ground on fire. If the ground doesn't catch on fire for a few moments when you cast the spell at it, then you have a problem.

so i just turned off my PS3 and turned it on and NOWWWWWWWWWWW it decided to work....... it should from now on always work correct? or is there a chance it will revert to not sticking on surfaces again later on?

I've never had that problem with it not sticking, so I'm not sure. Glad you got it fixed though.

also isnt faralda suppose to sell you expert level destruction robes once your able to cast expert level spells?

Exactly what Tivo said. Walls of Flames/Frost/Storms is a much stronger version of the Flames/Frostbite/Sparks spell. If you really want to increase damage output, I would suggest going with Wall of Flames and exploit the Aspect of Terror perk. It adds 10 points of Fire Damage due to the fact that Fire-based spells have a built in Fear effect. On top of that, get both Augmented Flames perks to get a total damage output of +85 damage. You can further add more damage by equipping Walls of Flames in both hands and alternately cast the spell for a second or so. Not only will you see a lot less of your Magicka being depleted, but it will also deal so much more damage than it would if you just cast it using both hands for a period of time.
