How do you backstab a Dragon?
Is it wrong that, despite being almost done with Dragon Age: Inquisition, in the middle of the Game of Thrones games and Witcher 3 already preordered and being picked up next Tuesday, that I want to drop it all and play Skyrim again even though I've already played it 26,472,814,639 times with every permutation of ccharacter, playstyle, difficulty and race?

I feel like an addict. :)

I've never played any of the Far Cry series, so I downloaded Far Cry 3 about 3 months ago to get me started, played maybe 5 hours or so and ended up putting it back into mothballs for Skyrim. ugggggggh. I swore up and down, I wasn't going back to a game that I logged a zillion hours, but I was inspired to do so after reading through a couple of character builds that spurred my interest again on a Skyrim Blog. Next thing I know, I'm hooked again....hook...line...and sinker.

It's what makes Skyrim so awesome. I get so tired of people saying that Skyrim is dumbed down. They are totally missing the point of this game and it's open design. This game isn't about structured perfection, it's about being able to play it the way you want. Even on console there are plenty of ways to keep the game challenging and the people that claim this game is dumbed down are just too dumb to figure out a way to keep it challenging.

Easiest way for me to keep the game challenging that requires zero maintenance is to have default Health settings for classes ranging between 100-200. Mage never gets health added so is forever squishy at 100. Thief and assassin builds get 150. Warriors get 200 max health.

Tis the way it should be. Like all great works of art, the piece is timeless. As you grow and evolve so too does your perspective, and thus, your appreciation. :beermug:

With the Witcher coming out on Tuesday, I can't decide if I should start a new Skyrim game or just be braindead with Game of Thrones.

Frankly - I am bone tired of Dragon Age Inquisition at the point. Funny I have no problem deleting characters there when I get bored of them but can't do the same for Skyrim.

Maybe I'll start a redguard beauty and dual-wield my way in to legend! I think I'll name here Sayadina or maybe Sheharezad!

Games like Skyrim, Oblivion, fallout 3 and such, the games brings the worst out in me, but in a good way. I'm such a hoarder in the video game world, if anything can be collected and stored, I'll jam pack a container, barrel or whatever with everything I come across even if it is worthless. I can't help myself, I've got to collect plops.

Yes, it's very wrong. Please go and iron your hands. :p

Bring me my broadsword, and clear understanding.
I've played other games, different genres, and just when I think I've escaped Skyrim I log back onto this forum and I drawn right back in.

I thought for sure Borderlands 2 was gonna officially end my Skyrim days with all the farming and solo raid bossing but nope...

i thought i was the only one, i'm sort of relieved that i wasnt. I was a quarter through my second playthrough in inqui and halfway through mass effect when in the middle of everything, i thought, flff it i'm going to play skyrim. It happens all the time whenever i attempt to finish a game. Then again every open world rpgs has a way of drawing me.

For that exact reason, I save other games for whenever I start to get a little bored with Skyrim. It doesn't happen often, but it does happen. This is probably also why I currently only have 2 other games besides Skyrim. lol
And no, I don't think it's wrong. If it was, no one else would be experiencing it or very few would, and seeing as all of us do.. Well. :p

Borderlands 2 is my go-to when I need a break from Skyrim. I got all six characters on UVHM and sometimes I just reset UVHM and replay Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep with each build. The chaos is refreshing. Finally got a Norfleet recently. Pretty happy about that. Hyperious coughed one up.
