Kohlar the Unkilled

Time for some ale
Sir Kohlar says: A few months ago I went out and bought Morrowind, having never played it before.

giggles.....how are you?:)....this one wants to get it too....is it worth it?....can it be MODED?

btw.....fantastic thread Sapphire....should get all these videos grouped up into one section......
:D
It is worth it; it can be modded, though I know not to what extent.

The combat mechanics are frustrating, yet Morrowind actually does a few things as well as if not better than Skyrim. To be fair though, I'll state for the record that I have gone back to Skyrim having not finished Morrowind. I honestly don't know that I will, but I don't regret buying the game, and the system to play it.

Secunda had me from the first time I heard it. Still determined to sample that for a hip hop beat at some point.

Frostfall is another one of my favourites. love the cello in that.

Some of my other favourites are Aurora, Distant Horizons, The City Gates, Dragonsreach, Solitutde From past to present (love the whispery vocals on it), Far Horizons, The White River etc

Love the tavern music as well. Winter's Tale, Bannered Mare and A Chance meeting are the best of those.

Skyrim got me into classical. Never listened to it before, it's my second most listened to music behind hip hop now.

Secunda does have a pretty fantastic beat I'd love to hear that sampled in a hip hop song.

Classical is great! I guess that's why I'm quite the fan of this soundtrack xD

There are multiple tavern songs I like, as @imaginepageant mentioned: by Malukah. So awesome!!

ArcaneBelleza

The Benevolent One
Not original music from the game, but a very awesome rock cover of the main theme.

I'd have to say Streets of Whiterun is my favorite, it's so tranquil and beautiful. The main theme is also a favorite of mine, especially when I heard it for the first time in the original Skyrim trailer, made my skin shiver in awe.

That rock theme really reminded me of Morrowind, which reminded me of how closely related Skyrim's main theme is to the music of Morrowind. :beermug:

My favorite songs from the official soundtrack are Dragonsreach, Standing Stones, Kyne's Peace, and One They Fear. But really the whole soundtrack is awesome! I can't get enough of it. <3

Yes..Agree best Rock soundtrack yet.. Only it should have more reverb, and bigger, boomier drum sound :beermug:

I'm a fan of these misheard lyrics :p;):D

Funny, I misheard the lyrics and thought the devs were having a good laugh at their players similar to this when I first played. Then I got further in the game and realized the theme song was in Dovahzuul and felt promptly very stupid. lol
As for the topic at hand, unfortunately I haven't heard to much of the OST, insofar as hearing bits of it in-game. I'll be giving these videos a listen now. :) Huge Lindsay Stirling fan, though! :p

True, but try telling that to ET for atari

If Combat, Yars Revenge and Adventure are considered art then ET must qualify.

Having said that, I don't even know the names of any of the songs offhand but I can say there aren't any that I don't like. It's all excellent music imo.
