Hello, again...

I know I just posted not even an hour ago but I have run into another problem. Out of nowhere now when I fast travel, Durnehviir spawns right where I end up, but he is semi underground, sometimes making it so I cannot move at all, so I am forced to fast travel to somewhere where he won't block me. If I am able to move, he will eventually fly into the ground and disappear, but it is still causing problems for me because most of the time when I fast travel he prevents me from moving. It's super glitchy and I don't know why it is happening.

Just a side note, I have not modded the game or glitched anything in any way.

Please help, this is really annoying :sadface:

  • Durnehviir may become a permanent follower if you summon him in Blackreach and then immediately exit to the surface via one of the Dwemer lifts.
Though the site doesn't offer a solution, resolving something like this, would take careful loading of previous saves and possibly reverting back before said glitch occured, however how much progress you are willing to sacrifice for a bug free game is entirely up to you.

Maybe try summoning him in a wide open outdoor area whether he shows up or not. It might reset him somehow. Then just wait for him to fly off on his own or disappear, and fast travel away from the area you summoned him at.
Also just as a side note, have you learned all three words of his Shout? Might be that the glitch has something to do with learning it.
If you have any other summoning shouts and the above doesn't work, try using one of them to summon something else. That should dismiss Durnehviir in the process, hopefully.
