Should PC, PS3 users boycott Dawnguard???

I'm upset 'bout it too, but I'm still gonna buy it. I'm not goin' to boycott Bethesda...a year ago, I might've, but I've gotten over it. X-Box 360 users pay for their Live accounts yearly (what, was it $50 a year?) idk...but that money goes to Microsoft so they can get pl*ps early...like DLC for all the CoD's and such. So whatever, I take whatever is thrown at me, so should the rest of you. But hopefully it comes out soon!

Wow, cry moar please, I had to wait about a year for my 360 version of The Witcher 2, because my PC can't run it. I had to wait longer for the Metal Gear HD games as well. And how long did it take for minecraft to come to 360? and the copy we got is an earlier version so please stop your whining its just ridiculous how much you sound like spoiled 5 year olds in the toy section after mommy said no.

PC users shouldn't boycott Bethesda. They got an earlier version of Dawnguard, and they now have the full (hrm, not full, more like, actual? idk.) version of it. PS3 players, from what I can see, have been waiting since the release announcement, plus the 30+ day exclusivity contract. It took them about the same time to get PS3 on the same patch as PC & Xbox. I'm just happy for mounted combat.
'Cuse me? Minecraft, when it first started production, was never suppose to be on the Xbox. In fact, it was never suppose to be on a console. The only reason I hate it being on console is now Reddit (which I go on frequently) is filled with Xbox players thinking "oh look i made a house giv me upvotez pls". It's gotten so bad that they made another subreddit for it. (Note: I'm not saying that all Xbox players don't have building sense. Some of them DO have building sense).
And boycotting? That won't work. Xbox signed contracts with most of the gaming companies for first dibs on DLC.
tl;dr Am I mad that I haven't got to experience Dawnguard? Yes. Can I wait a couple more weeks (months?) for it? Yes.

Perhaps minecraft was never intended to be on consoles, but then they did announce it and rather than giving us the newer version of it, they gave us a really old version, but I don't care, its still fun as hell and I ain't gonna boycott a company over something so trivial, plus mojang has said the xbox version just like the PC version will get updates free of charge we just have to wait a little longer.

Actually, I rather have the Xbox version than the PC. Hunger is a teeny bit annoying, especially if you cannot find food.

Yeah, but there is no sprinting, and there is more stuff to craft on PC. Also PC has create mode which is really awesome. I have played it on PC my friend lent me his account name and passcode to try it out however for some reason my PC doesn't like it, it will just shut itself off at random intervals, sometimes I'll play for 15 mins then it will shutdown or I might get an hour before it does.
But really I find it ironic how people are complaining about this, I thought americans were proud of being a capitalist country and anyone who disagrees were communists? This is capitalism, he who has the most money wins. Microsoft offered them money to be temporarily exclusive. You can't claim to support capitalism and then get mad when a company does capitalistic things and say they are evil greedy money grubbing pigs. Thats what capitalism is all about.

U all come here and tell us to accept the fact that this is business and this is how things works, and by that stupid logic, Europe is going down in a stupid crisis "just because its all business".
Its not all business, its a game, a thing to enjoy, its leisure, its something i pay and i demand to be treated like any other platform owner. BECAUSE IM PAYING!
If the game is multi platform, just do it for all platforms from root instead o doing a plopsty job by converting it from one system to another.
Ive read xbox users even saying that metal gear was designed to run on an xbox in the first place , like there was xbox during ps1 release of metal gear.Its not the same thing.
They used the money they gained from pc and ps3 users to make dawnguard to xbox, and that's not acceptable, a company has only one goal, even above making money, witch is loyalty to consumers, if they dont do it, what separates them from a mob gang? And even mob gangs have loyalty to their family...

If you don't like how capitalism works you can always move somewhere thats communist. Fact of the matter is, all platforms do this do this. PC users have the most content for this game already with the mod tools and the ability to download other mods. Companies pay to have exclusivity rights, I still haven't gotten to play any Uncharted games, why because sony paid to have them exclusive, at least with Dawnguard it is coming to the other platforms. But hey go ahead and boycott, you not buying the DLC won't harm Bethesda any, after all they got a bunch of cash up front from MS (which probably got invested into more DLC's if not this one).

If we want to be completely fair since people are so upset, yes take away ALL exclusivity, no more mod tools for PC after all why should xbox users be treated as second class gamers, its not fair that they get free extra content that we don't since they seem to think its unfair that we got the DLC before them.

its not the exclusivity that annoys me, i was fine with the 30 day period thing. but now that has been a 'little bit delayed' I'm 'a little bit annoyed'. but what annoys me most is bethesdas complete lack of communication. give us a time when it will be released, it doesn't need to be specific. sometime in september whenever. but please just give us a release date, that is something they should have done a while back.
i'm not going to buy dawnguard when it comes out, not because I'm annoyed at bethesda but because i don't feel any hype for it, i know the story and all of the plot twists because of people spoiling it everywhere. i seriously hope that this doesn't happen again, because i will continue buying there content.
oh and just one other thing, you can disagree with me as much as you want and tell me I'm wrong or do whatever. but if you are an Xbox user i can't really take you seriously because the majority of the xbox users who disagree with us would do exactly what we're doing if the tables were flipped.
then again, i really hope no one is still defending them

I didn't see Xbox users boycotting bethesda because we were denied the ability to DL mods but PC players are allowed to. Or that the PC release was cheaper than the console releases (which is true for almost all multiplatform games). But yes Bethesda should be communicating more about the delay and the lack of communication is definitely good reason to be pissed off, after all the exlusivity was only supposed to be 30 days.
