"Well if he means the he found the man whom robbed you, then I suppose I'll not need to buy new things for you after all. Does this suit you, Lady Scarlett?"

Kalib would quiet himself after that. Though he still gave off a rather brooding and dark demeanor as he folded his arms up in front of his chest. His gaze passed from Scarlett, to Huzul and then the man he said was responsible for the whole ordeal.

"I'd say that would suit me perfectly, thank-you! Let me just go down and see who Huzul has found."

Scarlett carefully followed the slope of the roof downwards, grabbed hold of the edge, and let herself drop the rest of the way down to where Huzul stood over an unconscious Nord. She plucked a torch of the wall of a nearby building and held it up over the man to get a better look at his face. She immediately recognized his long, mud-colored hair was held back in braids, his nose was crooked like one that has been broken many times and never properly set, and there was a jagged scar running from his right eyebrow across his nose and down his left cheek. No doubting it, this was the one of the men they were looking for.

Scarlett caught the glint of metal coming from underneath him. She put down the torch and pushed all her weight into rolling the Nord over. There! Strapped to his back was her beloved bow. She took it and held it aloft in the light, gingerly inspecting it for any damage. It was dwarven in make, completely etched with tiny runes. It was a relic she scavenged from within one of the many dwarven ruins that dotted Solstheim's landscape, the trip itself a birthday present from Teldryn, one that took a long time to convince her pa to let go on.

Scarlett strapped it and her quiver over her back, happy with the familiar, comfortable way they sat between her shoulders. Further inspection of the contents of the man produced Scarlett's pack and coin purse, both of which had become considerably lighter in the time they had spent with her thief. The rest she figured was either sold long ago, or split up among the rest of the thieves. Sadly, her sketchbook was among the items still missing. To this Scarlett let out a weary sigh. She'd had that sketchbook forever it seemed; it had long served as her faithful companion in her lonely childhood.

Scarlett looked towards Huzul. "How on Nirn did you find him in this chaos!? Oh, never mind. That doesn't really matter right now. Come on, we have to get out of Windhelm for the time being. Kalib knows of a place, I think. Have you seen our guard... er... associates?"

    Darkness rises when Silence dies.
    Huzul's eyes narrowed.
    "No, I have not."
They almost immediately brightened, despite their empty gaze.
    "But, focusing on the now..."
    Huzul kicked the unconscious Nord.
"....we could interrogate him. I'm quite good at threatening..." Huzul added, baring his teeth slightly in a mock smile, which made his features, quite impossibly, creepier.
"If the.... associates.... have abandoned us, this one..." Huzul kicked the Nord again, "will know where. He was in with a few bribed guards."
Huzul clicked his tongue. Immediately, he grabbed the body, and, pushing Scarlett and Kalib with him, hopped into the shadows. Two seconds later, a group of guards ran past.
"Let's get out of this wretched hell-hole."

Scarcely breathing as she watched the group of guardsmen run by, Scarlett crouched in the shadows with Kalib and Huzul. Huzul had the unconscious Nord flung over his back and carried him with the same ease as if he weighed no more than a sack of flour.

"I more than agree with that. We can figure out what to do with the Nord later. Now, where do we go from here?"

Huzul looked straight at Scarlett. Again, the vagueness of his expression was found creepy.
"I do not know," he stated, "I have no home. Anywhere but here. But what of the guards who helped us? Even I feel pity for them, shall a confined prison cell await."
Clicking his tongue, he went silent again, seeming oddly satisfied, as if he knew for a fact no guards were nearby.

Scarlett was slightly surprised by Huzul's concern for the guards. She had not really taken him for the kind of person to give much thought for others.

"I don't wish to leave them any more than you do, but if they lost us, they could be anywhere by now. This city is huge and not to mention maze-like as well. If we attempt to find them now, we risk being put in prison as well. Besides, I have the feeling that they know how to handle themselves. If not, we can always come to their aid when things calm down. For now, it's probably best to keep moving. Kalib, with your sharpened senses, I think it best you continue to lead the way if that's okay."

Jolgir made his way to the city gates, armed with his longbow and arrows as he lost his sword and shield thanks to Ulfric. Just as he was about leave he was stopped by Ulfric."Jolgir we are under attack, likely the Thalmor." Jolgir was confused just a minute ago Ulfric was trying to kill him. Jolgir decided to help Ulfric,"I know who it is a Khajjit, a wood elf, and a Argonian and redguard." Ulfric appeared to be torn between believing Jolgir or not, as Jolgir has worked for the Imperials before.
Ulfric decided to trust him. "Alright what do you have planned?" Jolgir knew they would go through the main gates as guard patrols were low in that area. As he had hoped Scarlett and her new found friends had appeared at the seemingly abandoned gate. Jolgir blew his war horn, and a phalanx of guards rushed to the gate spears bristling. "Don't move elf!" Jolgir yelled

At the sound of the war horn, Huzul seemed annoyed. He flinched at the noise. Without saying anything, he crouched, and turned invisible. Just as he suspected, their attention was turned toward Scarlett. If he could time this right.....

As soon as they were about to strike, he cast the scroll, and ice slowly moved across the ground to Ulfric and his men. Speeding up, it reached them, encasing their legs in ice.

Huzul stood up, visible and satisfied. Looking Jolgir in the eye,he said, "May the numbness of betrayal be as cold as your legs."
He turned to Scarlett and Kalib.
    "Shall we leave?"

Jolgir groaned in anger as the the he heard the sound of the ice pick break. "How long will it take!" he yelled at the guard. It was over an hour since the trio escaped and the guards were still trying to free Jolgir from the ice that had encased him. "A mage from Winterhold will arrive soon. We can't break through this ice, its like its magic!" The battle-worn mercenary sighed and spoke in a calm but clear frustrated tone, "Of course its magic ice-brain."

Jolgir wondered wear they were and how far they had gotten.
