Most annoying places for me are any enemy forts located on the main road. Robber's Gorge, Fort Dunstad, that other one between Windhelm and Winterhold occupied by conjurers, Broken Tower Redoubt and so on. These places f#ck me right off. They're usually a good place to get your horse murdered. How the wagon drivers manage to pass from city to city without incident, I don't know.

this!!
Damm Robbers Gorge cost me my life a couple of times when I was low level. Also the one east of Falkreath, and Labyrinthian with its Frost trolls, makes the trip from Whiterun to Morthal really tedious. Of course, at level 69, I can handle frost trolls and bandits, but it's tedious nonetheless.

How about Fort Greenwall? It is literally in sight of the Riften watchtowers, but the authorities do nothing about it! Maybe the bandits are paying off Maven for protection.

I parked my horse at a safe distance from Robbers Gorge and cleared out all the bandits before remounting, only to have my horse die from trotting into those boulders from the bridge trap

Greenwall can suck my arse, why the hell are those guards and miners in Shor's stone living peacefully alongside a castle full of bandits? I've had wedding guests getting killed in there on their way back home from the ceremony. I suppose its some consolation that we can at least we can have that fort occupied by ally soldiers during the war.

How do you backstab a Dragon?
The places I really like are actually NOT populated by people at all. Eldergleam Sanctuary and Ancestor Glade.
Both little hidden away gems in Skyrim. I love it when you first enter these places. Unfortunately after that, things go downhill pretty quickly. But I try to savor the serenity for as long as I can.
Ya know, I think both places would be great places to pave and put up condos or maybe build a mansion. I bet, if you chopped own the Eldergleam, the stump would make an awesome centerpiece dining room table. Of course we'd have to level the ground, perhaps put in some steps? Oh! And we'd need to do something about the drainage - perhaps a sumpump? After all, all that water must attract mosquitos. I prefer astroturf myself. Too much work mowing. Oh! And I do know a good exterminator that could get rid of all the bugs. Nobody likes bugs.

Molag-Baller

The real Robin Hood
I can't remember where the area is called, but the underneath of a dwemer dungeon with all the sparkly blue, jellyfish like things. I absolutely adore that place. The dwemer dungeon itself? Haha. Not so much.

Blackreach. And... Oh so true!

Annoying, Tolvald's Cave. I really, really hate that place.

I'd like to nominate the Forgotten Vale. Who thought it was a great idea to build the wayshrines so far apart? I don't think I'd mind walking in circles getting lost and whimpering so much if I hadn't been doing the exact same thing for the Soul Cairn earlier.

Oh, Just remembered I absolutely HATED that dark cave leading to forgotten vale... ahhhh things lurking in the dark, eeewww ... even with torch or candlelight, it was too spooky for my taste :-D

One of my most relaxing places to go is a large cliff to the left of Snapleg Cave. It's a giant waterfall overlooking the end of the Reach into the beginning of Eastmarch. I like to stand in the waterfall, turn off the music, and just listen to the sound of the water flowing and falling from the magnifecent height. After I'm done absorbing all of the scenery, I jump off of the cliff and land in the pond. I then let go of my controller and let the river guide me through it all the way to Anga's Mill.

...That is if a bear doesn't spawn on the way....

My first few times through those places (and Blackreach) were a horror show but after having been through them a bunch they are now my favorite places. There's actually a really good flow to Forgotten Vale, Soul Cairn and Blackreach it just takes a while to recognize the queues.
