Pink Fluffy Unicorns Dancing On Rainbows!
Not sure if this is the right place to ask this but, my newly made Wood Elf Etheria, I've had troubles. She's to be an RP character, and will be a stealthy/high HP to take hits if hit and stamina for blocking and zooming in (possibly?) archer assassin. I was thinking of getting her into the Dark Brotherhood AND the Thieves Guild. Should I? Her Archery level is already 54 at level 8 (thank Faendal for this and the money glitch). I feel the armor from both would really benefit her, not to mention they're the most best looking armor out there as well.

Thanks to anyone who could help me out!

Mistress of Shadows
In my opinion, I would go for the Worn Shrouded Armour, found at the Dawnstar Dark Brotherhood's Sanctuary. It is unique in that none of the pieces have enchantments on them. Making the set totally customizable. And if you follow the middle arm up the enchanting perk tree to get to the Extra Effect perk then you have the opportunity to enchant each piece with two effects.
So then you can put Fortify Archery on the cowl and the gloves. (as well as any rings and amulets)
Gloves, boots, amulets and rings can have Fortify One-handed.
Boots can also have Muffle.
Fortify block on your gloves
Fortify stamina can go onto armour and boots, amulets and rings
Another good one to have is fortify health on armour, amulets and rings.

So it is up to you how you want to spread that around. But I think it would be an awesome set of armour. In fact I may just do this for my next build. I would probably go this way:
Cowl: Fortify Archery and Fortify Destruction
Armour: Fortify health and Magic Regen
Gloves: Fortify Archery and Fortify One-handed
Boots: Muffle and Fortify One-handed
Amulet and ring: both with Fortify Archery and Fortify One-handed.

Also forgot to mention that the set is not able to be improved at a workbench. So that is one downside, but hey totally worth it IMO.

Both groups will increase your stealth capability, but as far as armor, I think the Dark Brotherhood's armor is more suitable for Archers and Assassins.
Also you might want to consider joining the Companions. You won't get any gear from them except a 1h or 2h weapon from Eorlund Grey-Mane, but once you complete the questline, you can get free training for archery and 1h as well as block.
  • Aela The Huntress (Expert Archery) 75 max
  • Athis (Expert One-Hand) 75 max
  • Njada Stonearm (Expert Block) 75 max

Thanks a lot! I'll definitely do that.

The same method you used to increase your archery skill with Faendal, you can use with the three NPC's that I've listed. Just remember you must complete the questline, before you can gain them as followers.

Yep! And I might get this character to marry Vilkas or Aela.

And yep, gotta do that annoying quest line to actually do that with the followers thing. Dx

Also, I had no clue bows were basically one-handed... >_< guess you learn something new everyday!
