Freaking annoying.

I was running around some ruins with my High Elf mage with my follower Brelyna. Figured that if we could run around with potentially a 4 person group we could wreck some shot and we do....that is until I go to use Ice storm abd she runs right in front of me with hardly any health........a quick reload and she does it again...By the Nine is it ever so annoying...same thing with ice spike...she jumps right in front of me right as soon as I release the trigger.........O_0

Don't feel bad. Serana spends almost all of her time with me sporting an arrow sticking out of the back of her head... sometimes two. Followers are a pita unless they are disposable like atronachs or zombies or spiders. Only ones I use unless forced by questlines.

Brelyna is the lamest follower ever. Try Stenvar (Windhelm). I also like Marcurio. Everything he says has double meaning; and when you get the second meaning, you realize how incredibly witty his developer was. I never get tired of that.

I have Valdimar and Serana right now.. I am delaying taking her to her castle so I can use her to help out with some of the tougher quests. But man, they are both freaking annoying. Vald on his own is usually ok and don't get me wrong, he is my favourite follower. But the two of them together..make me swear a lot. Especially Serana and her tendency to just walk right into me and push me out of the way when I am talking to someone.

I've grown to hate followers.

I use them for the first 5 or 6 levels to load junk on them to sell.

After that, I don't use them. They just get in the way when you attack, push you around when you're locked in conversation or walk into it and start saying random stuff. They do my head in.

I accidently killed Lydia four times in one quest because she walked in my line of fire (archer) with little health. Had to keep rolling it back to a previous save. Then she gets me killed when a Deathlord rushed me and I tried backing up through a small tunnel, but she blocked the way. Talk about getting mad, I was fuming.
