is that mod, or just the way the story goes?..
i work solo, especially when it's an important job, as you have described...

It's a mod.

I should work solo, but I just have so much more fun with my gang, lol. The jobs for me are sort of incidental at this point, I'm pretty much just dragging them along with me for hoots and hollers as I'm saving the world. And helping miscellaneous folk.

It's actually quite awesome - it's fun killing dragons and giants and such together. I have albums on here full of screenshots of that sort of stuff. It's only problematic when people, well, get bored. Or otherwise decide to do what they want and I end up having to do damage control and/or play babysitter sometimes. It's funny but occasionally maddening, as I alluded to in my previous post. :p

why? just play the game..
i guess GOD cannot be MAN first...

Well... this character IS my "god" character... I leveled Conjuration to 100 before I was level 25 and ended up breaking the game because of it (summoning two Daedra Lords against even a Dragon Priest is heavily skewed to the Daedra). I just want to mess around with it from now on and actually having to work for my goal isn't fair! :p

haha.. i guess i should stop and think about the fact that some people have "been there, done that"..
like i've previously stated: i am on my first run, and am doing it as-is
but, ya know, there are also plenty of lay-abouts that DO want their daedric for nothing...
all i've got to say to them is: EARN IT
ok.. i have a lot more to say to them, but we will leave it at that, then... ;)

enough of this before i get accused of hijacking the thread...

No problem :)

I usually play with limits and stuff like that... my ultimate conjuration guy was intended to be a mage that never EVER uses weapons. He has to punch things to death when he runs out of magicka but the conjuration thing broke it, I never lost battles and after I got good at enchanting, never ran out of magicka, either.

i've actually, on first run through still, set limits myself...
haha.. whatever i can buy, smith, or steal...
but.. no glitches.. and no exploiting the exploits..
easy to say.. hard to do...

"I thought adventurers were supposed to look tough."
I THOUGHT CHILDREN WERE SUPPOSED TO LOOK ALIVE.

Seriously, though, "I bet my papa could beat you up"? B*tch I'm in full Dragonbone Armor, carrying a bloody axe on my back, (yet you don't see MY kids saying that to anyone) you really think your blacksmith father could beat ME up? Pull your head out of your ass, FFS. I tried to kill this brat's "papa" just to shove it in his face, turns out the bastard is essential. Bethesda, if you're going to make kids, and everyone related to them, essential, DON'T MAKE THEM SO DAMN ANNOYING. TTFN.

Nice necro...

The main thing that annoys me is when I'm trying to launch an arrow from behind cover and my arrow gets hung up on some invisible barrier even though I'm way clear for a shot. The only upside is that I can grab the arrow back easily.

After several epic battles finding some sweet loot a maybe even leveling up a couple of times when somebody finally kills you. You realize you haven't save your game in three hours.
I take it you turned autosave off? I keep it on but I still run into that issue a lot just because autosave is so inconsistent. The most annoying is restarting after dying after forgetting to save and then 30 seconds later your screen freezes and you realize it's autosaving. What!? It decides to autosave now and not when I actually needed it? $&%@ Autosave!

Losing about 40 lockpicks trying to open a master lock only to find a potion of minor healing, 12 gold, and 1 iron ingot inside.
The bright side is that the more lockpicks you break, the more you level up in lockpicking and by proxy the game.

Turning Autosave off has a big effect on load screen time. I would say that, in the long run, the time you gain through shorter load screens outweighs any lost time you may experience having them turned off. Plus I notice that my chances of getting a freeze on a load screen triples if I have autosaves on.

I definitely think you should be able to kill the children.

They've given them the most annoying script ever.

Either let us kill them or make them only say nice things. Not make them annoying little twats.

Something that pissed me off?

Getting only five gold from Nurelion. I was compensated generously later, but I was THIS close to going on a killing spree in Windhelm! I felt like grabbing all of his potions, tying him up, and make him die of internal drowning by forcing all of his potions down his throat.

He got the easy way out....believe me.

When arrows go through an enemy and no damage has been done to their health. I've had this happen many times especially using slow time shout. One time, my low level character went up against a cave bear while wandering around The Rift, I threw the shout, launch three arrows and all three went straight through the bear with no damage. It was almost like the bear was Ethereal.
