Hi fellow Skyrim players!
I have been lurking here for a little while, now I thought it was time to introduce myself.
I'm a woman in her mid-thirties, living in Berlin, Germany, mother of 2, and I absolutely love TES and especially Skyrim. I'm playing on PC (being the child of an IT engineer we always had a PC at home and I have been gaming since I was 8 years old).
My love for TeS started years ago with Morrowind (was still childless and studying at University then). It continued with Oblivion, where I first discovered playing with Mods and loved it ever since.
I skipped Skyrim when it came out in 2011, because the kids took all of my time ;-) but a couple of months ago, I finally started to play it. And what can I say: for me, it's just the BEST GAME EVER. ever ever ever! I still love playing with mods, I have quite a lot of them installed, right now I'm thinking of trying out FrostFall next.
Currently, I still have my first character, a nord woman named Idun Raven-Feather. She is actually half-imperial, thus her black hair and subsequently her name. I will write more about her in another post.
Idun Raven-Feather has already achieved quite a lot in this game (defeated Alduin, finished Thieves Guild, DB, Companions, Dawnguard), currently level 68. But there is still sooo much left to do - next on the list is traveling to Solstheim again (Teldryn Seran is waiting there patiently to go on adventuring with Idun) and defying Miraak.
What Idun doesn't do at all is MAGIC ;-) Never been much of a spellslinger, my favourite battle styles are sneak-attacking with a bow and/or fighting with Sword (in Iduns case Saber/Scimitar) and Shield. But I'm curious about magic. I haven't done the College questline yet, wont't do it with this character because it doesn't fit, but I'm thinking of starting a new character who will be a spellsword or a mage thief instead.
Okay, that's about it for a start. Looking forward to hang aroung with you all :-)
