A few days ago I decided to accessories a little more and installed a left hand ring mod........big mistake skyrim crashed hard and it took hours to get it back up, had to uninstall pretty much everything before it would pull up the title screen again. Well re-installing my mods now I cannot get my unofficial patches to work, crashes at the title screen no matter what I try, right now the only mods I have running are my patches and FNIS and it still won't open. I upgraded to the new 2.1.1 versions of the patches with the same result, running the exact load order recommended. Has anyone had anything like this happen to them? Any ideas on how to resolve this issue?

CTD on start-up nearly always implies missing masters. I've never used FNIS myself; does it have/generate an .esp that might be the culprit?
The unofficial patches work flawlessly, and since you say you have them in the correct order, they cannot be causing the problem.
