Dabiene Caristiana

Your friendly neighborhood weirdo
Elenwen getting her head chopped off.

I re-entered the embassy using a glitch. Walked up to her rooms and she was standing by her bed. Right when she was talking about how superior she was I lopped off her head with a dragon bone sword.

"WHO'S SUPERIOR NOW, BITCH?! YOU GOT YOUR HEAD LOPPED OFF, BY THE DRAGONBORN!"

I almost screamed that at my TV. I've had a dozen play throughs before that and always wanted to own and one-up her. My video game dream came true. And now I can pursue another one. :)

Another one was an epic scene.

I'm fighting Karstaag with Stalhrim armor for protection and he's still kicking my ass even with a fire enchanted weapon. I activate the special shout that you get in the dragonborn DLC.

Right when he flings me away I just stare at the screen like... "Yup, I'm gonna die." Then I hear this shout. I pan the camera and there is the ancient dragonborn kicking Karstaags ass. Went over to help and killed him.

I can't remember if I did a kill move or not on him. Nevertheless, most epic and best way to kill. Using the ancient dragonborn to save your butt.

Good call on the Ancient Dragonborn. :beermug: I had a similar experience the first time I beat Karstaag. The God of Frost Giants focused on the Ancient Dragonborn, which was fortunate for the Current Dragonborn. Who is the Ancient Dragonborn, anyway? More importantly, how many times did you die by Karstaag's hand? That's a question for a different thread. On my first playthrough, twas many.

I'm not the most experienced bowman so it always surprises me when I land a cool shot. Whether its a particularly long shot, a moving target or just-in-time shot it always feels satisfying.

I was a fairly low level and had got my hands on a crossbow when this snowy sabre cat kept pouncing and one-hit killing me. The 1st 2 times I tried to just hack at it with my sword (playing a warrior) but the 3rd time I sneak shot it with my crossbow. I almost killed it but it got up and ran for me. I tried shooting at it again, and missed. As i was reloading, the big, white kitty pounced and..... I shot it mid flight through the eye :)

My best kill was against Krosis at Shearpoint. I knew he was at that location from previous plays so I killed the dragon before getting close enough for him to pop out of his sarcophagus. Nervous as ever, I approached until he blasted out of the sarcophagus and the battle began. I was a fairly low level, mid 20s maybe, and he was tearing me apart. I was avoiding his Staff of Fireballs attack at all costs for some time, staying as far back as I could and irritating him with my bow. It didn't take long before I decided I was no match. I thought maybe I can lure him to bandits or hopefully Giants so I attempted to lure him down the mountain while dodging his fireball attacks. I tried staying as far away as I could, sometimes too far away and having to chase him back up the mountain to harass him with arrow to get him to chase me again.
Lucky me runs into a Frost Atronach so I focus my attention on that, thinking Krosis is far enough away that he is heading back up the mountain, bored of my pitiful attempt at "cat and mouse." Sure that Krosis was gone I focused on the atronach. When I finally killed it, I went into sneak mode and headed back up the mountain after Krosis, nervously thinking that he could be anywhere and might catch me off-guard. Luckily, I found him in a group of boulders and started to shoot at him with my bow once again.
He started blasting away again and I had to evade his fireballs again, barely able to line up a shot that can take a mere sliver from his health. However this time he wasn't mobile, just standing stationary while shooting at me. This went on for a little bit until... nothing. He just quit shooting at me. I was confused, there is no way he is trying to trick me, no way he gave up. So I kept my distance and unloaded my arrows into him until the long awaited Dragon Priest's demise. I excitedly hopped to the corpse for loot. The area he was standing in made sense why he wasn't moving. Somehow he must've gotten stuck in the group of boulders where I was able to kill him. Still wondering why he quit attacking me, I trudged onward until I ran into some wolves, eager to blast them away with my new staff, I equipped it and...poof, nothing. Oooooh! It ran out of charge!! I didn't know enemies could exhaust weapon enchantments, making my victory over Krosis feel quite a bit less baddass than I had originally thought. It was still quite an epic feeling battle that I remember to this day.

How do you backstab a Dragon?
Similar to GlacialDoom - when I Wabbajacked Hemskr and he turned in to a bunny and I made hasenfeffer for dinner (hey, he had carrots, potatoes and cabbage in storage at his place, I figured, why not?)!

I killed a bandit chief on one of the wrecked ships and then resurrected him. He then proceeded to kill the rest of the bandits with a steel dagger.

I think one of my most memorable kills was when I was on really low health (that tense moment where you know if you get the last hit in before the enemy, the surge of relief will hit you big)

Just about to die, all in or nothing, and I held back and attack at the same time - this was the first time I had ever done the backward power swing with a Mace, but as a first, satisfying experience it was brilliant.

If you've done it you will know how it looks, but the combination of winning the really tense fight against a Draugr Deathlord boss, and the new discovery was pretty epic.

Steepfall Burrow, finding Noster's Helmet. Level 1 or 2, with a heavily modded setup.

I managed to get to the treasure room by simply running past the Frost Trolls... but getting back out was an entirely different matter.

After three or four deaths I managed to kill one of the beasts - but its friend murdered me at least thrice before I finally cleared the place.

I happened to have an "Enhance Weapon: Leeching Spikes" (health absorb on hit, IIRC) spell tome (modded; from SkyRe), and being a Nord I also had a greater power that gave me 7 seconds of total damage immunity (also from SkyRe).

To defeat the second troll I ended up learning the spell, casting it on my sword, spamming power attacks until I ran out of stamina, and activating my racial power. Even then I only barely survived the battle; my 7 seconds ran out when the troll was at about 15 % health.

Then there was the time when I got an attack cam on a dragon - or so I thought. You see, as the camera follow the arrow, it flew right past the dragon, far away... and hit a random bird.
So it wasn't an attack cam, but a (cruel) killcam.

I have many memorable ones but one of favourites was the time I was just roaming over the plains of Whiterun and came across a random chicken. Feeling a little bored, I chased it. That chicken was fast and we covered a lot of ground. I stopped and got out my bow and notched an arrow with the chicken racing further away from me. Just as the feathered beast dove through a bush, I let loose the arrow and heard a "BOKERK!"

When I eventually found it I was amazed to see I had not only hit the chicken, but got it straight through the head. And the best thing.....

No bounty. BOOYAH!

Yngol Barrow just now. Yngol's Shade (the boss) is an extremely high-level ghostly Draugr (guessing Death Overlord strength), regardless of my level. It takes more arrows to kill him than it does to take down an average dragon.

This time, I was carrying the Wabbajack, and decided to test whether it'd work on dear old Yngol.

It did.

So, I just kept blasting him with the staff (turning him into mudcrabs and chickens), until, at around 50 % health he simply dropped dead when I blasted him. I was like o_O, and then like "How cool was that?!"

My best kill ever. No contest. :D

Had an interesting one yesterday. I was clearing out Knife Point Ridge (probably for the fourth or fifth time this play through, for Boethiah's quest on this occasion). Just when I entered the camp itself I performed a power attack on a bandit outlaw with my Daedric sword. As I struck her, she seemingly disappeared into thin air, which I thought was weird but thought nothing more about it. Then about 20 seconds later, I heard some rustling in a tree about 20 feet in front of me. I looked up and saw a body falling unceremoniously through the tree and eventually landing on the ground. I went over to check it out and sure enough it was the bandit outlaw I had killed just before. My power attack had apparently launched her into orbit.

I'd never seen anything like it before. But it was hilarious.

Killed an ancient dragon with Mehrune's Razor on legendary difficulty. That was pretty much the apex of the vertex.
