I often play as Bretons; in fact, this is the only time I will be playing as a Nord. I often do rogue mage characters. That part in Helgen is definitely the hardest part for somebody on a significantly high difficulty level. I play using the TIM cheat (and sometimes also the Tdetect cheat), and I also use the Duel Combat Overhaul mod, so I usually use Legendary difficulty to make things more realistic and difficult. I also play with Frostfall, which makes my game much more difficult on many levels. I've since lowered my difficulty to Expert or Master. Anyways, I've found that arrows are the bane of many mage characters. And Legendary has a great talent for taking a sword and sticking it right up your arse when you're not expecting it. Your experience only proves that Legendary is truly for the most hardcore heroes (not including minor cheats like me). At least you learned your lesson, eh? Lol !

I wish I had a decent computer to run Skyrim, but unfortunately I play on Xbox 360. Skyrim is already awesome, but I would love to play with the Frostfall mod like you do, as well as the Hunger/Thirst one for an even more realistic playthrough. And yes, I totally learned my lesson lol. I also learned that Brawls are no walk in the park either on Legendary lol

I'm sure everyone knows about killing the chickens in Skyrim. That is a bad idea because the entire town will turn on you. This has happened a few times especially in the beginning, in Riverwood. I still don't understand why I can't kill chickens.

I just had an awesome one happen that I HAD to share with all of you! So sometimes, when I get bored, or procrastinate a quest I like to save my game in a city (in this case Whiterun) and go on a rampage. See how long I can last against the guards and angry townsfolk.
So, one fine day, with my super leveled Nord character in Whiterun I decide to start it off by shooting some arrows at Braith, quite possibly the biggest brat in Skyrim. Like clockwork I get swarmed with guards, but did very well at handling the anyone who came in my path. With my bow again drawn I start sniping at NPCs until I see Braith, running in my direction, with Vilkas, his two-handed greatsword drawn right behind her, no doubt heading my way to put me down. However, Braith changed directions and, to my surprise, so did Vilkas. No way, he isn't helping me is he? They both run out of sight so I head in their direction. Sure enough, Vilkas was swinging his greatsword at Briath, with persistent pursuit. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, and naturally, the laughing-out-loud commenced. I have no idea how Vilkas was triggered into attacking Braith, my character is leader off the Companions, but I am unsure how Vilkas could have ever seen Braith as a threat. One of the greatest WTF moments to ever grace my Xbox 360.

A dragonfly lifted my horse (with me in the saddle) high (> 10 meters) into the air, carried us across a bridge and then dropped us back onto the ground. o_O

I decided to Destroy the Dark Brotherhood. I talked to all the hostages for the speech boosts of asking if anyone would pay to have them killed, then attacked Astrid. It was a difficult fight as she wouldn't fall to my paralysis staff or potions, but after she chased me around the shack for a while as I hysterically slashed and downed about 42 health potions I finally heard: "Well...done". After looting everything from her I turned to free the hostages...

...who had completely vanished from the locked room to which I only had the key.

I was disappointed. I enjoy hearing Vasha cheerfully ask if we can forget we ever met.

I was in Four Shields Tavern, in Dragon Bridge, when I suddenly heard the unmistakable sound of a wolf howling. Inside the inn.

Then, when I left my room in the morning, I saw two Stormcloaks with one of their armoured ice wolves (mod), just standing there.

Dragon Bridge was still firmly under Imperial control... so how exactly had those Stormcloaks gotten past the Haafingar guards patrolling outside? o_O

I nearly did that. First playthrough I got horribly lost in the Soul Cairn, so when I finally got out of there I was done with huge enormous places in which it was easy to get turned around. I got a bit hysterical at spending two hours real time in the Forgotten Vale. I was kind of: "OH MY GOD EITHER MAKE IT OBVIOUS WHERE THE FIFTH WAYSHRINE IS OR KILL ME NOW!" when I hit 1 hour 25 minutes.

Had a really good one within the first cpl days of playing the game.

Was really low level with nothing but what was on me at the moment to my name, was a lil outside of whiterun and decided to piss off a giant. Lydia was with me carrying some of my collected stuff. We were kiting it and dumping our weak arrows onto it then when it came close ish she decided to try and tank it. She swung her sword but the giant smashed her halfway through the swing. She bounced off the ground and launched into the sky with all that loot and if she did come back down it was faaaaaaaaaar away lol.

Literally made this face

:O

My both wtf and lol moment, I attacked nightwatch keep (thalmor) and last few i killed in werewolf form! One of thalmor guards (female) got her head stuck in crate of vine... and quess what pose it was? A DOGGY POSE. Now,.. eh... lets just say that my wolf-ed dragonborn lost his innocence there.
So, this was my: "what kind of fluff was that" (WTF) and "ridicuLously Orgasamed eLf" (LOL) moment.

Posted this in the "Wow" thread because I forgot this thread existed!

After confronting Bersi Honey-Hand about his debt to Brynjolf, he gladly paid up, and I left the Pawned Prawn. But he followed me out, and started running. Curious, I followed. He went right to Edda, the beggar, and stopped in front of her. She asked if he could spare any coin, and he said, "Here you go, dear." And then he left.

In over three years of playing this game, I've never seen an NPC give gold to a beggar.

I feel really, really badly about all the times I wrecked Bersi's vase now.
