The day after release I skipped school and played for 16hrs straight, not one of my most proudest moments. I don't really consider myself a "gamer" but the Skyrim hype got the best of me in 2011 lol

DON'T EXPECT SPOILER WARNINGS FROM ME
Am I the only guy who thinks that some people here are extending their session for more interesting replies? No offence.

My feelings are quite the opposite. I have a hard time believing those saying they only play 2-3 hours at a time. At least personally, my hardcore gaming is over; and that's almost a blessing as the sessions I used to have with older titles like Perfect Dark and Sonic 3D Blast, would have been far less believable to you than a meager 16 hour one.
Quite impossible to play for long while when u have brother, y'know, even on holidays, cuz i usually sleep till 9-10-(and rarely)11 am.

No, when I first got into Skyrim I would play for hours and hours on end, right now though I only play about 2 to 3 hours a time, but I have a really terrible short attention span... And I have been playing other games. But I can definitly see how you could still play for so many hours. Once I get back into it I still have a heap of stuff to do, Falskaar, Elsweyr mod... I haven't even completed the main quest yet! xD

Sure you can. I used to tie my brother up and lock him in a closet. It's easy to play through a head banging on a door at the other end of the house. Don't worry, I let him out after a couple of hours. Eventually he learned to leave me the F*** alone when I'm playing games (BTW, this was WAAAAYYYY back in the day - I was playing Pong!).

I was an only child. meaning I got to play whatever and whenever I wanted! Muahahah
Ya ever think there was a reason you were an only child? Maybe your parents were so traumatized that they were too horrified to even consider another. :)

Sorry - that was a joke that a friend used to use. Rest assured, I wouldn't have blamed his parents at all. Right now he works for Goldman Sachs.

Oh! Kinda like when Miraak fell through the floor of the platform he was on during our fight and was never seen again! (glitch) I always though Hermi was getting impatient. :)

One time I played about 8 hours of Skyrim straight. I was home alone and was really bored on a weekend (All my friends were away), so I sat down and played for what felt like an hour but really was 8.

I once played Skyrim for five hours without even getting off my chair. It was very tiring, and I don't think I will ever try to do that again. Sure, I've had longer gaming sessions, but none of them seemed as tiring as playing Skyrim was, for some reason. Nowadays, I usually only play for one or two hours at a time, and try to pace myself. Also, having to do a lot of schoolwork helps me not play this for too long.
