Is Silus Vesuius's House secure for storage?

See topic.

I have recently started RP'ing as a Mythic Dawn agent who got the call from Mehrunes Dagon (why he crossed into Skyrim in the first place.)

As this Agent for the Mythic Dawn, I have become the Arch-Mage of Winterhold, the Guild Master of the Riften Thieves Guild, and now am the Holder of the Razor of Mehrunes Dagon (I took Silus's life outside Dagon's shrine.)

I would really like to use Silus' house as a sort of "base." Even though he is dead, I do not get the "trespassing" message when I try to rest in his house/museum (although the items in the cases are marked Stolen.) Is his house secure storage?

I don't think so.

I guess I am still looking for a place that a Mythic Dawn agent could call home.

I used the Mzulft Storeroom on one of my characters. More of a hideout though

Well, he recently bought Honeyside (I suppose becoming Thane is a move made to really try and blend in - but it is just an act; he's setting up for the rebirth of the Mythic Dawn!)

How do you backstab a Dragon?
It must be nice to play such a ding-bat as a character. I mean, really? The Mythic Dawn? They were lame in Oblivion. :)

And don't tell me "But they killed the Emperor". So what. Given the blades I met in Oblivion, it doesn't really seem like it was all that hard to do. And, as opponents? Oh please. They were so predictable, I wanted to scream. At least Mehrunes tried, his minions? It was like watching the '60s Batman. What a bunch of lameos.

The wardrobe is safe for storage.

You may see red letters on highly valued items when in wardrobe but these aren`t marked stolen when returned to your personal inventory.

The only place marked as safe for storage aside from houses that you can purchase is Anise's Cabin located between Riverwood and Falkreath, and near Bleak Falls Barrow. I believe that Silus Vesuiuss's home respawns which makes it unideal for storage because you may lose items.

Edit:
Only the wardrobe and the dresser are safe spots in Anise's Cabin. The barrel respawns so be mindful of where you place your loots if make Anise's Cabin your safe house.

I'm in agreement with Choi on this one.

Silus Vesuius's house respawns every 10 days, so use the storage containers at your own risk. Still, I wouldn't see a problem using it for a temporary base of sorts, especially if his bed is usable for the 'Rested' bonus while you're adventuring in or around Dawnstar.

Anise's Cabin is the home to almost every single one of my cheap-ass characters (except for one, who is a goody two-shoes and doesn't believe in crime of any sort). The only item that respawns is the barrel on the upper ground floor.
