When your 4 year old son walks around pretending to be a guard and asking you repeatedly if someone stole your sweet roll. He even uses the accent! Now he swears he is the dragonborn, city guard, kahjiit, draugr that is married to mjoll the lioness. He fus ro dahs all my furniture and uses whirlwind sprint to run through the house....Am I corrupting him? I'm just going to take it as I'm addicted and my son is adorable!!!

When your 5 year old niece convinces her mother to make her a set of nightingale armor and imitates Karliah's voice from her sessions of watching you play the game.

I think it is when, you start thinking to yourself about how you will fight a particular boss and wandering what can you change in your tactics to make it more possible to beat the person. I have found my self thinking about Skyrium when driving the car and also when doing other activities still thinking to myself about the game. There have been times, where even when sleeping I have been thinking about how I will play the game differently and waking up as well.

I knew my 8-year-old and I were addicted when her and I had a legitimate debate about the benefits of fast travel versus riding a horse.

I'm all about the efficiency; it's faster to get to where you need to go using fast travel. She called it fake because there's no such thing as fast travel in real life.

This kid is going places.

When someone says RPG games suck, and your immediate first thought is to 'Fus Ro Dah!' them all the way to hammerfell. :Dragonborn:

When you hear the theme to Skyrim and get chills feeling like you are a true hero, I don't know why but this seems to happen to me everytime.

You know you are addicted to Skyrim when you leave your keys to the house somewhere and you don't even worry because you are a master lock opener. But after breaking the lock to your house you realize that you are in the real world and now you have to climb through your window and get it repaired. Thanks Skyrim!

Another sign would probably be when you are in a meeting (or something of that caliber) and you sit there internally debating; 'Which should I use, fire damage or shock damage? Or maybe I could go get some soul gems an enchant that sword.....'.

When you encounter real-world situations in which you really wish you could perform and Unrelenting Force shout. Traffic jams, for example lol

I haven't been playing Skyrim for that long, but yesterday I walked past a hedge that had some tiny flowers blooming underneath it. I had an impulse to press 'E'. My first thought wasn't 'Oi this isn't Skyrim don't be ridiculous mate' but 'those tiny things aren't lootable alchemy ingredients but just some background textures'. Yeah. fml -.-
