How do you backstab a Dragon?
My youthful obsession? Its animes not Skyrim, tough its ma favorite game. Waiting for AOH to come out tho, wanna try it.
Been meaning to catch up on my animé on Netflix. Naruto, Full Metal, Titan, etc. Last one I did was Space Dandy and Bleach.

Argonian
When I was out of work I played it almost every day - most was probably about 10 hours in one go pausing only for drinks and toilet breaks. I played it that much in those 8 weeks I knackered my shoulder up so much so that it froze up and I could not move it without being in so much pain. The doc said it was caused by having it in a certain position for far too long.

Now I only play games for a max of 3 hours in one go.

When in doubt, follow the fox.
When I first got skyrim, I played for about 16 hours straight...for about 14 days in a row...

Harkin

Necromatic Mastermind
Btw I once read an article about a 20 something gamer who died gaming from a blood clot in his leg after being immobile for a really Long period, so after reading I made sure to move every few hours.

Something internal, parents thought he was alright upstairs, stay safe fellow gamers.

I'm not like those crazy people who play for ten hours straight....I play for nine hours straight. :p

My record is about 15-16 hours. You don't pay attention to the clock when you're fighting a dragon :p

On average I play about 10-12 hours. Unless I'm not feeling well to begin with, then it's 3-4 hours.

No idea, I always lose track of time when gaming/on my computer, a few times I have played games after dinner and then forgotten we had dinner and still think it's early... Things like that. So I literally lose track of time. xP

Mighty Pecan Pie

The secret American
When I played a lot, 4-5 hours after work, and whole days in the weekend :p Like others said, you lose track of time.

Well, now, lets not change the subject, this is still Skyrim discussion. 4h is ma record, and ive set it quite a time ago...

Faithless Imperial

Atheist Arch Mage
I can definitely understand people who play for 10+ hours, but I get bored if I do any single activity that long.

6 hours is the longest I've played Skyrim, I think.

DrunkenMage

Intoxicated Arch-Mage
I've fallen asleep playing Skyrim. Happened when I was creating a new character, so while a Dragon was burning Helgen my guy was just standing there not moving for about ten minutes until the controller switched off.

Mundus 9-5, Oblivion weekends
It's nice to see such a meaningful thread idea come back to life. Unfortunately we are uncertain if OP meant a single sitting, or if we are allowed bathroom breaks and/or short delays like power outages, etc. Suppose I'll just assume we can have bathroom breaks... The best game sessions, and by extension, Skyrim sessions I've had are day-long sessions. This isn't to take away from a brief sit-down. Sometimes brief sessions can be as fun too,.. If I could put a number to my longest with Skyrim: 16 hours seems about right. Longest session without any break or delay would be a completely different story. For that I'd probably only ever lasted as long as 9 or 10.

Kohlar the Unkilled

Time for some ale
Probably somewhere in the range of 6 hours. Typically I play for two or three. There seems to be a cyclical rhythm, similar to a sleep cycle, when it comes to my immersion. At one hour in, I'm completely immersed. After about two to three hours, depending on what's going on, (in the game and in reality), my mind starts pulling away. I won't typically play at all though unless I have an hour, minimum. I've tried to play when I had just a 30 minute window, and it seems like I barely take a few steps before time is up.

How do you backstab a Dragon?
Currently I'm spending a lot of time in Skryim just so I can get the damned thing finished. I've been at it for well over a month with at least 5 hours a day on it and I'm nowhere near finished.

At some point, regardless of the RP or immersion, it just ends up being a grind.

I love ya Ingin, but would you finish doing everything already?

At least you're committed. I seem to end up starting over every few days or so for stupid reasons and have no idea why.

Honestly, I love my character, but I am definitely getting bored. Endless fetch this, steal that, plant this, kill this person, wander through some Drauger ruin or Dwemer maze to find something, help this guy, help that gal, kill this dragon, kill that dragon... blah, blah, blah... It doesn't matter the difficulty. The higher the difficulty, the longer it takes, the lower, the less challenge. I think I'm burning out again and it'll be another 6 month break coming up.

I just want to finish the stupid game 100% (or therebouts) once, just once. Is that asking too much? I want to get on to do 100% of all my games, just once (don't be disturbed, I only have about 10 games - I'm kind of picky).

Why not just settle for all the achievments/trophies/whatever the PC equivalents are?

'Cause that's not 100%. I've already done all that (hey 6K+ hours, it's no wonder!). I am absolutely pathetic. :)
