Ahhh, the age old question...How do I make more money/gold?
Well I'm lvl 10 and have never been over 3500 gold. Trying to save up for a nice house. So any advice besides the make tons of potions and sell them would be great. My mercentile skill isn't all that great either.

Also, does the armor duplication trick work anymore? I've read about two tricks, one vor prepatch and patched versions of the game. Basiclly you can't duplicate magical stuff but most everything else should work. (I just read about this last night after I quit for the evening to watch the playoffs).

Thanks!

This is how I make my money:
1) While traveling make sure to check shops and Wizards for petty/lesser soul gems. Buy petty filled or unfilled, buy lesser only unfilled.
2) Get a method to Soul Trap (Soul Trap Enchantment, Fiery Soul Trap Enchantment, or just cast the spell from Conjuration)
3) Pick up a valuable enchantment (Banish, Paralyze, Turn Undead, Absorb Health, Damage Stamina are some of my favorites)
4) Head to Bleak Falls Barrow when you have a nice stash of soul gems.
5) Slaughter the whole of the dungeon, trapping all the souls, and bring as much of their gear back as you can. (Note: One handed weapons are much easier to retrieve than 2 handed!)
6) Enchant the weapons with the above enchantments. (Note: Make sure you watch the prices, because spamming the same enchantment eventually lowers the value)
7) Sell it to the 5 shops in Whiterun who take weapons; once your Speechcraft gets higher you might have to hit a second town just to purge the extra inventory!

Once you get the higher-priced enchantments and the Draugr fill Lesser gems a little more reliably, this method nets about 5k a run, so it's more than enough to fun you for any projects!

Or you could just join the Dark Brotherhood. Assassins be making scratch.

Just brave it out and go into bandit caves, slaughter them, take their gear then sell it, if you want to be legit, if not just buy a high quality item and duplicate it and sell the copys

I'll dip my cookies in your tears.
I always plundered the Vampire Patriarchs cave just south of weynon priory as soon as my levels hit double figures. There's about 5 or 6 vamps in there plus the patriarch. . Made almost all of my money that way.

The Arena. You get a lot up until you become Grand Champion, then you can get like 3000 a week killing beasts in front of an audience

Doing it legit:

- Fight in the Arena
- Clear dungeons and sell any loot you find

The (very) long but effective way:

1.) Gain access to the Mages Guild in the Imperial City. You'll have to complete every recommendation quest from every lesser branch of the guild in every city (save Kvatch but you'll learn why later). Once that's done go to the Imperial City and earn official admittance. You now have access to the enchanting stations.

2.) Get to Level 2 and complete Azura's quest (her shrine is in the far Northeast of the map) and get Azura's Star

3.) Complete the Main Quest up to the part where you close the Oblivion Gate at Kvatch. You will get an item called a Sigil Stone which you can use to enchant weapons, armor and wearable items. This will prompt Oblivion Gates to spawn all over the map in which you can basically repeat what you did at Kvatch (save the fighting in the city).

4.) Find and close gates until you get a Sigil Stone with a Soul Trap enchantment. Use it to enchant your go-to weapon.

5.) Harvest souls and take them to the enchanting station to put into an item. Sell said item for profit. Repeat as desired.

Doing it via exploits:

1.) Get a valuable item and clone it via the scroll glitch
