It's going great so far, and I agree that being able to bypass all the introductions (which are honestly like a mandatory chore in most RP's) is a pretty nice change of pace.

Hm, Got room for one more?

    Frost Wolf
    Name: Nergal Arribus

    Appeared Age: Mid 20’s

    Age: 700 years

    Race: Breton-Colovian

Afflictions: Form of High-rock Vampirism. Akin to Porphyric Hemophilia, perhaps.

    Gender: Male

    Appearance:

Nergal has unnaturally pale, almost snow white, skin. It matches his unpleasant cold, dead stare. His vampiric eyes has long since replaced his natural vibrant blue. Long brown hair, left loose which hopefully hides most of his features.

He stands at 6’5”, and has a slender but athletic build. Old scars litter his chest, revealing his torturous past. He normally wears long black pants and shirt, fitted with thin chainmail for protection yet still provides mobility. Over his simple protection he has a thick robe-like cloak, with an added hood to keep out of the harsh rays of the sun

    Personality:

Nergal is cold and death-like, rarely says anything if at all even talks and is generally more of a thinker. Blunt, brutal, relentless, and has no sense of empathy. He is resourceful and skilled however, loves the pain of others. He enjoys putting those he loves to toy with in an invidious position. He is mainly driven by his own selfish goals but even he will help those that he calls friends. He never forgets nor forgives betrayal.

    Combat Style:

He is only armed with one dagger, as a last resort. Usually he plays with the dead, and magic most fitting to his purposes. He doesn't give out quick deaths, unless he’s in a rush. It’s a fight to the death, and even then his foe(s) never leave his service.

My shortest CC yet... Tell me what you think about it.

While Nergal sounds interesting, I think we already have enough rogue/thief-ish characters. Plus, we pretty much have an all human cast aside from a single Elf. While I'm not sure if Aerin is up for having another with us, if you were to join I'd recommend taking some of those factors into consideration.

He's not a rogue, nor thief. He's a mage, well, a necromancer more like it. You have no pure magic users in your group.

Ah, I should work on my reading comprehension. I just saw "uses a dagger" and assumed rogue/thief with some magic on the side. In that case, magic would be perfect. My mistake.

This is a cool cc, my one hesitation is the vampirism. Like I think we could just about fit in necromancy, but how would you fit in his vampirism with a group of bandits who mostly work during the day? Also how would Nergal go about feeding? Obviously considering the various backgrounds of the characters we already have established, the vampirism may be a source of conflict you know?

I think this is one those "awesome character, wrong setting" situations. Do you have another character you could use?

Aerin, I am already writing my post and Gweezdo refers to the group as the Cracked Tusk Keep clan of bandits. If its not that fort, I can change it (assuming we have a fort), but is this fine by you guys?

No that's absolutely fine. What I've suggested before has only been a very basic idea so you guys are definitely encouraged to get creative with their history and background.

And anyone who wants to join late: we can have your characters waiting at the fort to essentially hold the territory and defend the fort.

    Well, there you are wrong.
Lorewise, it's a different kind of vampirism, In highrock there are various clans of made up of vampires. There is one pertucular clan is renown for it's cunning, and day time activities.
Porphyric Hemophilia isn't Sanguinare Vampiris, nor is it quite what the High Rock vampires have. But the first case, when fully fed they look almost human and don't have a weakness to sunlight at all (only fully fed, maybe a day's worth of blood), where as Sanguinare Vampiris does (-15 minus attribute, to eventually sun damage)
Feeding, I have that solved, My character will almost always ask for the Gallows to be his home, Forts normally have those, and he feeds off those prisoners.
I should have in fact, put my disease as Noxiphilic Sanguivoria (Hadn't realized they updated the lore for high rock vampires, until I just checked it up now)
Personal quest, he seeks to actually cure his vampirism as he doesn't like the idea of serving a deadric prince after his death. He basically wants to find a way to become a lich and all that. Master of Necromancy, and immortal, but that's a long way's down the line. Maybe even become a scion. Who really knows.

Trust me, my lore is perfect.

Are you happy with this, instead?

Well, I guess as long as his disease doesn't make him too overpowered then it should be fine? This rp is essentially built on the idea that these bandits are so terrible at being bandits they're accidentally helping the guy they have declared a sworn enemy. As long as your guy fits in with that then sure. Guys, does any one else have any questions, thoughts etc?

    Toxius

    Frost Wolf
Oh no, he won't be powerful. Well, He is powerful but only in terms of his necromancy, he really prefers his necromancy.
He'll probably fill his time torturing adventurers for information about the DB.
I don't see him killing the DB, or being killed by the DB.

Well, I am all against OP characters in Roleplays. But if we look at Nergal as a necromancer, we will probably see him unable of making use of his best skill (considering our bandit group isn't really that powerful to even get that many kills for him to make use of) most of the times. I think there isn't anything wrong with it.

About his vampirism, I am not so sure, but maybe if he kept it as a secret? I mean, our poor folks can't even make out Sonnex's gender, so they would probably miss out on the guy who spends most of his time in the Gallows.

    Toxius

Yeah, well. These forms of vampirism, fully fed at least, makes the infected look completely normal. Blending in perfectly.
There are also lesser forms of undead, Like skeletons. Db can eat those for lunch.
Maybe, once in awhile we'll get a bear, or somebody strong.
