Nephor The Shadow Stalker

Strike swiftly and silently.
Hello my friends. While I was under the weather my friends and I got into a number of conversations of why we loved/hated things and I figured why not post it here. Now before you start going on about things I figured a few ground rules wouldn't hurt. Free form expression. Don't be afraid to express what you feel about something be it love or hatred. You actually have to have read the book seen the movie or played the game. That's right. No hipsters are welcome here. Don't insult someone because of their opinion. I know this should go without saying but I've done this in the past and I feel it should be said to remind myself and others. Articulate your expression please. The more detailed the better. Simple enough yes? Good. :)
Among the things I enjoy there's one that I've been back and forth on and that is Mass Effect. While I was on leave my brother had his Xbox and the first and second chapters of the trilogy. I played the first one and instantly fell in love with it. It had that old school flair with new school mechanics. It also had exploration that I thought was one of the best aspects of the game. Still as great as it was it wasn't perfect and it ended on a satisfying note until the second one. I didn't get far at all in 2 because it was pretty jarring and needless to say it turned me off of the series until the trilogy came out for the PS3 and my brother sent me it as a present. Now that I've gotten used to the second chapter and actually understand why it is the way it is I completed the trilogy as a whole for the first time. As most fans know the ending and all that whatnot was disappointing and so they fixed it and made it better. That's not were my problems with the series is. It's in the story itself. So many questions and no concrete answers and fans just have the short answer and refuse to acknowledge that it's a problem. Well most fans anyway. Ever since these little plot holes kept popping up in my mind I've been on the fence with this franchise. It hurts a lot when something doesn't add up and makes even less sense as time goes on. Especially something you love. I would articulate further but it's just nitpicking and I'm pretty sure others have covered it and moved on with their lives. Well that's my first of many and hope you enjoyed and have fun. :)
