Thats it, the game ruins its fun once you are too powerful to take damage, where's the fun in that?
An addendum: I don't usually use my entire set of heavy armor either unless I'm in vicious blade to blade with another tank. I prefer a mix of light and heavy armor which gives me greater stealth but reduces my armor rating well still giving me reasonable protection.

Cool, wouldn't that level both Heavy and light tho, I'm a pure heavy build so unwanted light armour levels would add to my overall level which I always try to keep down.

Over the months of squishy builds I've found out how focusing really strengthens your character.

Not saying yours is by any means, just something to note. Theres a standing stone that negates heavy armour weaknesses, but if I remember light armour has better regenerations.

Lydia became a Blade as soon as I could make it happen. She creeps me out, sitting in my room eating bread, always watching me sleep. She had to go.

Some time later I joined the Stormcloaks. After the battle for Whiterun I returned to my home, alone, and drank two bottles of wine to dull the guilt I felt over the destruction of my home town.

As I'm getting ready for bed, Lydia shows up, in her Blades armor! She says "I can hardly believe I'm a Blade now!". Then sits down and starts eating bread!! After a new minutes she gets up and leaves. WTF?!

I'm sure that the changing Jarls during the war quests causes the Housecarls to "refresh". So her program recalled her to Whiterun and ran her usual routines there, while retaining the dress and dialogue of a Blade recruit. Logic aside, it was really strange and funny to see. Now she's back at Skyhaven like it never happened.

My son is playing skyrim now and has had some weird stuff happen during his game.. like the first time he went up to High Hrothgar and encountered not only the frost troll but a DRAGON glitched out into the rock wall behind it. I myself have NEVER had a dragon attack going up that mountain, so I thought this was incredible!

Has anyone else had a dragon encounter on their first journey up the Throat of the World?

Yep. Was level 7 at the time, I think. The frost troll and that lady pilgrim joined the battle. It was a sight to see tbh.

I haven't had the dragon attack going to visit the Greybeard for the first time, but I have had it going down from visiting the Greybeards for the first time.

Had a funny one happen tonight.
On my way to Dragonstooth Crater I ran into a gang of about 10 or so Forsworn. Well I'm a battlemage and don't have much as far as armor goes, and had no follower to help me, so I died twice. Then I realized I had two choices: try and sneak past with Invisibilty and Muffle on or drink a Fortify Illusion potion and Pacify them all. Sneaking seemed like a cop out so I decided to Pacify them.
After buffing myself with various potions in case Pacify didn't work, I took a Fortify Illusion potion, equipped Pacify and charged in. Well to my great relief it worked, though not without me taking a few hits because I couldn't hit all 10 at once. This was when it happened.
There was one guy I hadn't managed to Pacify yet and this Pacified female Forsworn goes, "He's still fighting? My money's on the big one!" and cracked me up laughing. Then I hit the last one with Pacify but not before my Dremora Lord (forgot to mention I summoned him with the Sanguine Rose as back up whilst fortifying myself, just in case) manages to kill one, which prompts the Forsworn dude to go, "I swear I'll find whoever did this!" and walk off, right past my Dremora Lord - who had just killed him before the swearing Forsworns eyes. Funniest thing ever lmfao.

Today I was exploring an isolated shoreline of Solstheim when I came across a group of three men in their smallclothes attacking some hoarkers barehanded. So I was thinking "Great. Guess I better go save these idiots." While I was going to town on them with my heavy armor and Nordic Broadsword of death, that genre savvy part of my mind was thinking "Wait, something doesn't add up. A group of unclothed, unarmed men went all the way out here? On Solstheim? What if they happen to be wereb-OH BY THE NINE WEREBEARS! WEREBEAAAAARS!!!!".
I turn my back for two seconds, and they're already transformed and ready to kill the only living prey left. I was promptly mauled to death.

How do you backstab a Dragon?

I find that carrying honeypots on Solstheim is always a good idea. :)

I had such a moment a few days ago. I was using the Skyrim Romance Mod (which is no longer installed due to memory issues), which adds a slightly over-powered wolf companion to the game. My character and her companions are ambushed on the road by a sabrecat near the Western Watchtower. The wolf knocks over the large, muscular wildcat, and I hack and slash at the disabled animal. Suddenly, it spazzes out, sinks into the earth, and all I can see are four sabrecat paws sticking out of the stone-brick road. I get a kill-cam on the sabrecat. It spazzes out again and goes flying into the air to land several feet away. At least when I found its corpse it was on the actual ground, as it should be. Skyrim is glitchy enough, but this was an out-of-the ordinary moment that I will treasure for all long as I can remember it. Has anyone else encountered flying sabrecats?
