Time for some ale
Oh easy. If you use high enchantment to augment your weapons, (and also eventually get the augment frost/flame/spark destruction perks), a warrior can deal many hundreds of points of damage per hit.

Out of those three? probably the warrior (High Health and Damage). Most OP in general is the Nightblade.

Any are viable but for overall ease, I would say the warrior. The fastest clearing of a dungeon in my experience. Less perk trees to manage.

Mage has a slow start since they often can't obtain their weapon by picking it up off of dead enemies. Too many perk trees to manage.

Archer is my favorite but is slower due to relying on stealth and distance.

Legendary level i would say Archer with sneaking.

Warrrior dies sometimes when there is many enemien on skin.

for me Mage is imbossible. I feel that destruction shoot blanks on enemies on level 150.

How do you backstab a Dragon?
You mention OP. Rather than easiest.

At low levels, obviously a warrior is the easiest, but, as you gain levels, a warrior has the least chance of ending up OP'd.

Thieves/Assassins - can go either way.

Mages, in my experience, always end up being OP'd, no matter the difficulty level after a while (of course that may just be me as I end up with 100 destruction skill with zero cost pretty early).

My personal favorites are the spellsword and the two-handed warrior. Either way, since I'm spreading my perks across a large selection, I rarely end up OP'd.

^ Agreed. My sibling plays full mage and he's op as all hell. I saw him kill a dragon with three hits.

But he has no armor so he gets 1 hit K-O'd pretty easily.

Yeah. I've been known to take down a dragon with one dual cast of Thunderbolt (just a regular dragon, it takes at least 3 to take down a legendary, even on novice).

I can usually kill a dragon pretty well too, but my brother just fluffing wipes the floor with those poor bastards.

I'd have to say mage. You could just aggro a room with fury, throw some thralls/Dremora out there, cast muffle and invisibility, and watch the hoards slaughter themselves without lifting a finger. For any survivors, just stagger them with AoE fire spells until they stop moving.
Of course, this is assuming you've got endgame perks.

Mage. You can slow down enemies charging at you to a snails pace, or fury them into killing each other. Summoning allows you to keep them distracted even more + with illusion you can make your summons/undead into killing machines by stacking courage/rally/call to arms.

Never underestimate Mages, while you start off really weak and easy to kill... You will dominate any battlefield once you level up.

I personally like using Storm Atronachs + Chain Lightning. Since your spell will reflect off your summons onto enemies without causing any damage to your summon.

Honestly, there is no best. It is like RPS (Rock, Paper, Scissors). Archers (Scissors) can tear down mages at a distance, which kind of nullifies the range advantantage. Plus with high damage bows, the mage will not be able to get their powerful master spells off. Warriors (Rock) can take an archer's damage with high health, but the mages can easily win. Mages (Paper) can take down a warrior, but archers are a distance fighter, allowing for better mobility than a warrior against a mage.

When it comes down to it, the best class is the one that is standing at the end of a fight, not the one with the most toys, or the one the with the best mobility, or the one with the highest health.

It goes without saying the best builds are mixes of different types

Of the three I don't think it's a mostly mage character. Destruction isn't as good as archery or one/two handed for damage output, nowhere near, and while you can do great things with conjuration, illusion, restoration and alteration- how many can you use at once with even a very high magica? You can't wear enough enchanted items that will allow you to effectively cast from all schools in a fight

I'll go out on a limb and say the most powerful builds (builds that can handle the game on legendary from level 1) are

1. One handed, heavy armour, block, conjuration (alchemy, enchanting, smithing)

2. Archery, sneak, one handed (dagger), light armour, illusion (alchemy, enchanting, smithing)

In both cases there's only one magic skill using magica

Why is the alto wine always gone?
for easiest to start, i'd say the warrior, but i like to add 2 words....quick reflexes. when an enemy goes to power attack you, raise your sheild and you can slowtime, ive had it slow down for 2-3 mins b4, allowing me to literaly slaughter all enemies without them even raising a sword or weapon, kind of like the matrix if an archer shoots an arrow, you can see it in mid flight and didge it very easy. though my most op character has to be my conjurer, conjuration+alteration...summon 2 dremora lords, and sit back and paralyze from afar, can easyly slaughter any obstical on legendary.

IMO: Sneak, archery, one hand, some illusion

Blocking isn't my thing, so haven't done much with sword and board builds, though they seem pretty strong.

Magic I love in other games, hate in Skyrim - mostly because the whole equip spells to hand implementation feels clunks and slow to me and ruins my immersion - so I have never gotten high with a pure magic build.

I used to feel the same way until I dedicated myself to it one day. While not my favorite build, it is certainly a challenge. The main thing I found was that you MUST have a companion or conjured being and playing a mage on higher difficulties is next to impossible.

The easiest build to feel powerful with is probably a Breton running Two-Handed (greatswords), Heavy Armor, Archery, Smithing, Enchanting, and Restoration. You're equipped to face virtually any threat, including those pesky high-level mages.

But in reality, play what you feel comfortable with. I don't use a build like that because I find it boring when you're too OP. A little challenge goes a long way for me.
