Novice Build maker
The current build I'm working on I'm making the perfect vampire: Sneak, one handed, illusion, destruction, light armor, conjuration. Is that a do able build or should I sacrifice one of those for archery?
Is a stealthy character minus archery do able?

No archery is doable. Just a bit more challenging .

Totally doable. I'm doing the same build myself on one of my characters minus the Light Armor (using solely mage robes for the moment). I would suggest taking the Quiet Casting perk in Illusion ASAP, but other than that, it's fine. It's called an Illusion Assassin.

Strike swiftly and silently.
I've had a ball with this build and became a real power house with illusion. Though after a while my attention starts to deviate cause I miss my bow. I even had a nomadic vampire at one point in time that didn't use any magic. Lot's of fun to not play to strengths and still beat tough enemies.

Hell yeah it is! To start off with it will be hard, but im sure you can use magic to help you. Just start collecting every soul gem you come accross and later in game create an enchanted sword or whatever you find appropriate.

I love being a dagger thief, with maybe a little illusion or alchemy tossed in. Stealth archery gets too easy.
