Im into roleplaying and is currently playing as a Hunter, a rogue Orc Bandit and several other types of non-questing characters. Im looking for small nice, but humble abodes that fit different types of roleplaying characters. Problem is that often abodes are filled with lots of stuff that makes it unrealistic compared to what common people in Skyrim live in, or that you have to do quests in order to gain acces to these homes. Either that or they are too Humble like Alchemists shack, with no chairs for sitting or bookshelves ect. I would like storage Space, and common living surroundings, like chairs, table and a cooking spot.

Im trying to stay out of questing aswell, and would just like to acces the home as a base from the beginning without going on a quest.

Do you know of any good mods that fits this describtion?

i'm not a modder since I play on Xbox 360, but around the world of skyrim, you'll come across occasional houses/shacks - depending on whether they fit your taste (snoop around them first) you could make them your house.

I use, infact it might fit your taste aswell - "Drelas's Cottage"

It's occupied by a hostile tough mage called Drelas, but once you get rid of him, you can live there for RP purposes.

Downstairs consists of Alchemy, Enchanting tables, with a nearby shelf - just to the right of that area is a cooking area and dining table.
Upstairs has a bed with a chest right at the rear, opposite the bed + chest is a bookcase.

It's not a huge house, but its actually cosy, im sure modding the place could work out really nicely.

I don't actually use the Cooking area, dining table, alchemy table or sleep in the bed! lol

My actual house is the Thane house in Markarth because its awesome compared to the others.

Check out the official page on the wikia with more detailed info and images of the place. Google "Drelas's Cottage Skyrim" hit the UESP . net link

Thanks, its a very nice house especcially for a mage.

Still what im trying to find is a very modest, humble starter home, but decoratede with some style. I would like a small amout of safe storage, and no gear of value in the house. I don't wan't to use a house that requires a quest, esspecially one that involves areas that later appears in other quest as the Embershard mine does to Hunters Cabin. Since im roleplaying as a hunter i will not resort to killing in order to obtain the house. My bandit on the other hand has already disposed of Drelas, but the style of the house is not very Bandit itself.

I've searched everywhere but can't find this. I found a small campsite with one safe container and two barrels and a cooking spot, but it was placed too near a encounter spawning place. Everything else i found was either overcluttered, overpowered or not very nicely decorated. Im a bit surprised that it should be so hard to find a beautiful small standard home on a scenic location.
