I found this site by a chance as I had decided to pack up and move on from my at the time site "The Escapist", while searching for a new site to call home I happened upon this one, something about it stuck out to me something unique something the other sites didn't seem to have, so I set up shop, joined some RPs and I haven't look back nor do I have regrets. I started this with above-average knowledge of Skyrim and Oblivion and have grown to a wide knowledge of both of them

I do agree with you, buy, particularly on that particular forum, they DD.DA community has remained unchanged and turned the entire experience sour for me. They form a clique that,if you do not follow their rules, ostracize you and limit your options. Especially in a game like that, you are required to hire the "creations" of theirs and, if you do not treat them exactly as they prescribe, they quite literally limit you to the poor selection of game generated options. That game has been out for years and, in all that time that forum has remained the same.

I did sort of leave that out, didn't I?

I'm not entirely certain what drives certain forums to become consistently clique oriented. Obviously not everyone on any specific forum will appeal to a certain clique, but it is a phenomenon... It could be the moderators, the way the page is designed, a game's prospective demographic... Who knows?

We're the poorman's Bethsoft forums. :p
Ah, but we're ever so rich in other ways!

I think we need a Necromancer's basement for everyone to feel included here...

"""Cackles with an evil glee"" I see my potion of love has begun spreading it's message , ,, ""cackle""

But on a serious note, I found this place by accident while searching for an answer to a problem, no idea what it was now though, but what I found was more than just my answer but a wealth of information, advise and help freely shared
But I also found I could share my experience and knowledge of the game with everyone and if I had made a mistake I wasn't criticised but encouraged and guided by everyone, this of course made it easier to share other stuff etc, and to have friends like that from the 4 corners of the world is actually quite stunning.

my 2 cents , , , , , , ,
