Sorry, Aerin is a permanent asset that will always accompany Mjoll. He is programmed that way, so that even if you move into any house, he will be there and follow her normally. He is not essential however, which means you can kill him. This is NOT advisable however unless done a certain way.

If she sees you kill him or if he is dead near your presence, she will forever be "sad" and will not engage dialogue with you anymore and she will divorce you immediately. If she sees him die by an enemy, she will be "sad" and not engage dialogue with you for a few Skyrim days.

However, if he dies by an enemy and is not within sight of Mjoll, she will react as if nothing happened. The best way to do this is to move to Lakeview Manor and wait. He will (for some reason) walk away ( I guess to go grocery shopping?) and eventually run int two Mudcrabs in a pond. If you play on Legendary, the will indefinitely kill him and your problem will be resolved.

Hope this helped!! :D

LMFAO Aerin is just a sheep in human skin, thats so hilarious that he just happened to "move in" when you were out, and I'm sure you were extremely shocked to find a strange male just sat on your dining chair opposite YOUR wife.

If your definately gonna get rid of him, do it while Mjoll is asleep, drag him out the door by his head and maybe kick him in the river and watch him turn into a water float.

Make Aerin your butler. He'll cook, clean, and buzz off when instructed.

Well, that's what my character would do, anyway.

Why would I want to do that? If I want an annoying "butler", I can always hire Lydia. At least she gets all condescending and pompous about carrying my burdens. Aerin just whines and moons over Mjoll. :)

Yeah, I kind of agree with DuLac, Aerin is as annoying as hell. Too bad I can't perform the black sacrament on him, that would have been a genius move from Beth, don't you agree? :D

The Sacrament is so much WORK! Look at that poor Arentino kid. He must have been doing it for days. I usually just lure him someplace private and introduce him to my little friend. He never knows what hits him. Oh... then I stick a knife in his back. :)

What do you do with the body?
Usually goes in the lake. I usually get him on the back porch of Honeyside. I bring Mjoll in through the back door when we come home and he usually comes trapsing up the same way about 10 minutes later. She's in the house and stays there because I dismiss her as soon as we get in and I stay out on the back porch until he starts coming up the path. I did learn though that you have to get him before he gets to the dock portion or Mjoll will notice.

Did you know that the lake has a current that will take bodies out toward the Estate? I found his body out there later.

Basically feed him to the fishes. Bolli would certainly not approve of that. o_O

Following up on my last. I discovered this because I noticed that Aerin always seemed to approach on the same path that Mjoll used whenever she returned to Riften and entered Honeyside with me. He even went through the graveyard area when we fast traveled there to the TG entrance.

Frankly, since we lived in Riften anyhow, I wondered why he was outside the city in the first place since he never left before.

Oh well - it works every time for me now. Timing is everything.

Well, he does sell fish to Markarth now (I made sure of that) and they certainly have a taste for human flesh, eh?

Yeah, my character married Mjoll too. My character was originally going to let Aerin get killed in a dragon fight or something - now I'm glad it didn't turn out that way. I didn't know she'd get sad and not engage dialogue. What I ended up doing was as Mjoll the Lioness was moving into Lakeview Manor - I let her go inside first. Then just as Aerin was about to go in behind her, my character snuck up behind him and backstabbed him with an Ebony dagger. While wearing a white dress, no armor, with nothing but Oakflesh on. Even that wasn't needed. He's too easy. :/ One hit and he was dead.

Lol yeah I don't know why he has to move in with you, but take pity on the guy, he is in the ultimate friendzone with Mjoll.
