Preferably on your own that has changed your playstyle, the way you look at the game and/or was just really cool to uncover.

I'll start with something small... One day I tried casting Fury on a prisoner being moved by Imperials (main road event)... Since that moment I have, indeed, a great necessity for "offensive" Illusion spells.

Gonna stick with illusion magic for this one.

I was playing a pacifist and managed to piss off every guard in Solitude when I tried to stop the beheading. It was the first time I had ever used calm and I calmed EVERY guard in the city. It has been my personal game breaking go to spell ever since.

I recently discovered Meeko is a very cool companion. I always avoided dogs, or I'd just let them follow me to the next town and leave them there, but I started allowing Meeko to follow me everywhere. He doesn't get killed off easily like horses do, he's like a human follower in that he gets beaten down and will fight again when he recovers.

Haha... You're a real protestor!

So, did you succeed in stopping the execution? I'd never thought to try this before.
No, unfortunately I did not, poor bastard still dies

And he'll push you off a cliff if given the opportunity. . .lousy dogs. . .

A long time ago I discovered something about Restoration.

So say you are beating up your poor defenseless horse right? You know.. To level up a certain skill and maybe level up Restoration to boot?

If you, after hitting your horse all the way down to a few health points, equip both hands with the lowest 'heal other' spell, there is a trick that let's you cast the spell multiple times with little magicka drained. Even if you don't have the perks to lower magicka cost.

For Xbox 360 users, just quickly touch the cast button back and forth, left right, left right. You'll noticed the horse's health bar go up very quickly, almost like you cast a powerful healing spell. If you look to your magicka bar... If you did it right, all that healing drained very little of your magicka. Healing 150 points of another creature/person's health? Only 20 points knocked off your magicka.

Made leveling Restoration a heck of a lot faster. I'm sure a lot of Veteran players figured out this little trick though.

^ And there I was, thinking I was a veteran...

The day I discovered you can shout at butterflies and insects. Blows their little wings clean off.

You know, it's weird I didn't even think of trying this until I'd seen a role-player shooting Torchbugs. I still find the idea odd, and almost equally inventive.

I've done the Civil War multiple times and just recently discovered that if you side with the imperials, Heimskr gets thrown in jail. And I didn't have to lift a finger. Well, besides killing a few stormcloaks.

Something I learned about a month back: Having a weapon equipped drains your stamina faster than when it isn't... Like, I know about that message in the loading screens, but I never realized by 'equipped', it meant "equipped at all"... Now I make a habit of unequipping any in weapon in use before I go to run. Shields, two-handers... it makes a crazy difference in stamina cost. I never made sense of it just because it doesn't make sense. In your inventory, on your back, what's the difference?

I recently discovered that Margaret's death scene in the Markarth market place isn't scripted like the Solitude execution. Took me a while to realize that.

Yepp, first time I killed weylin and saved her it was the greatest thing ever! Until I found out where her loyalties lie and felt I should have let the man do his job

Here's one for you, but you only have one chance to do it.

At the start of a new game and escape Helen, as soon as the first 2 are killed and you get the key to open the gate, , , just run, run and run, don't bother fighting or gathering stuff, just keep running, open the doors and the drop bridge, just keep running past the spiders and bear and exit, the run and run down the hill to the road near the Talos shrine going towards Falkreath and there you will meet up with General Tulius and Elenwen on there way back to Solitude and you can have a polite conversation

Down side your in rags and broke and probably out of breath but fit,

So I recently adopted a stray dog and he sits up in my bedroom in Breezehome, and every time I arrive home, I hear his cheerful bark, followed by Lydia spouting "Stupid dog". Look, Bitch. You could learn a thing or two from my pet about how to respect your master. :Dovahkiin:

Ouch! "Master"! Seems like the criminal from Helgen has developed a real attitude since finding out they can shout things off of cliffs, eh?

Not our fault there is a very obvious hierarchy in skyrim. Dragonborn>Ebony warrior>Companions>Dragons>Giants>Thalmor>Various Daedric Princes>Ulfric>Forsworn>Everyone else
