Nephor The Shadow Stalker

Strike swiftly and silently.
One handed with no shield cause I like to use defensive or healing magic and block with my sword and my first true love the bow! I innovate multiple styles and keep myself prepared for anything.:)

WEAPONS ARE FOR THE VEAK!!! KHAJIIT USE CLAWS!!!

But in all seriousness I favor swords because I am the worst archer and usually cant keep up enough interest to level magic to an epic level.

I dabble in all but melee weapons are my preference.

Magic! I love it, but I find it hard to play with just magic by itself, so I like using both a sword and magic. My Wood Elf character uses only bows though, and they are fun to.

I don't care for archery much. My Nord Malkjar the Malignant uses archery and duel wielding though, with the occasional shield. My Argonian Kahn uses one handed, and conjuration, with a shield. The block skill is so easy to level up quickly that I can't resist it. All you need is a willing giant... Kahn started out with some archery, but after obliterating Miraak, those points were allocated to conjuration.

i think bows are my favourite. most of my characters started off with archery as a secondary weapon for long-range sneak attacks, but over time, my bow always seemed to gradually become my primary weapon >.> swords come next (both one handed and two handed) so i just switch to them if i'm forced into close-range combat.

Archery is the most fun, and all my characters use it to some extent (it's the only effective way to fight my dragons).

Magic as main offense or defense I've never done, because it's boring.

Usually bows for long range, sword and board up close (with a shout opener) and the occasional magic when I feel playful.

I prefer ranged damage so bows and magic, although in both instances I have to have some ability to melee to keep from being chopped in half in close quarters.

Archery, dual wielding+perks! conjuration to distract and give support damage. And restoration. My god, is restoration handy.
As for which weapon type, it depends. Archery if I can get the drop on them. Daggers if I'm lucky for that sweet 15x damage, and blender-o-death dual wielding with become ethereal so they can't hurt me while I go in for the kill.
And damn, is it satisfying sending corpses flying in a fiery explosion.

All the bows I have are weak (I haven't advanced that far in the game) and my aim needs some touching up. Magic can be useful in specific times, and the shouts I always use. But swords I seem to only use because, well.. I feel most comfortable with them

There's nothing more satisfying than brutally beheading your foe with one massive arching swing of your great-sword.

Especially when they shout their ironic defiant last words moments before my blade meets their neck.

"You've faced mud-crabs tough than me?"
*props her foot on their rolling, severed head*
"I think not."
