Nephor The Shadow Stalker

Strike swiftly and silently.
After playing both it seems moot to pick a side anymore. Stromcloaks are boring and cold if you aren't a nord and the empire is meh. They should've put aside their petty squabbling's about freedom or united blah blah blah. If you haven't noticed there are fluffing dragons attacking!! MORONS!!

Imperial Legates all mention the Dragons as a problem they currently face, Legion is also fighting the Forsworn.
Do you know how much I pay attention to squabbling moron's? NONE!! That's why I said they. Not just one side Mage. Both have to take up responsibility and face the threat together. It's never going to happen and this quest line is the least inspired to me.

Season Unending is about as close as you will get. Both sides wouldn't work together, Ulfric and Tullius are too stubborn to cease fighting. It isn't just the Dragon threat, but the Second Great War just around the corner also.

Holy poop on a stick! I think we both can came into an arrangement, at last!

Hadvar agrees with you.

You hope to gain in council what you've been unable to take in battle, is that it?

I dunno about that Raijin.

Think I'd rather put the Elder Council in charge of everything.

Been playing me some ESO and I have to admit, Mage knows his Imperial lore very well. Some things he was saying earlier, ah, bits and pieces I'm starting to pickup from what the Prophet was talking about.

No sir I will not end the Empire for Ulfric. F&ck him. Mankind will be lost without the Empire. Unless you're comfortable with a large portion of Tamriel being ruled by the Dominion. The Empire is the only thing keeping them back. Because once it's gone, the Nords will keep to themselves and will not seriously commit to much of anything until it's too late. Which is fine I suppose, however this attitude before is the very reason for the Empire being created. Because that's what the Nords did - Nothing. Until Pelanil Whitestrake put a fire under their arse... and so did Septim.

So what you're saying here is that you *wouldn't* make any sacrifice for your cause. Unlike the Stormcloak who did at Helgen.

Hah

I once knew another Stormcloak like you. And he was all talk too. When it came time to be banned from the site, (a disagreement between mainly he and I) he smartly got on his knees and begged for his 'acct', blamed me for everything that had happened. So the 'Stormcloak' Admins put all the blame on me.

Kill the Empire as your first option, pretend everything is the Empire's fault, run and hide behind someone else, yep... Stormcloaks can all go to hell.

LONG LIVE THE EMPIRE

btw - the Imperial armor in that pic looks terrible.

We probably know more about making sacrifices then you weak Imperials. Our blood sustain the Empire yet it became in ruins by weak rulers like Emperor Titus Mede II. All of the hard work that Talos did all came undone when your Emperor sign that damn treaty. A treaty that gives the upper hands to the damn elves! Now those Nazis are allowed to roam free on our lands, to slaughter our own people for worshiping a man that rose up to become a deity.

As much as we Stormcloaks want to kill all of you Imperials... we rather give our men and woman the opportunity to die fighting the elves.

Galmar: "And now, I present to you, Ulfric Stormcloak, hero of the people, liberator and High King of Skyrim!"
Ulfric: "I am indeed Ulfric Stormcloak, and at my side the man/woman we know as Stormblade, and the world knows as the Dragonborn. And indeed, there are many that call us heroes. But it is all of you who are the true heroes! It was you who fought a dying Empire who sunk its claws into our land, trying to drag us down with it. It was you who fought the Thalmor and their puppets who would have us deny our gods and our heritage. It was you who fought your kin who didn't understand our cause, who weren't willing to pay the price of our freedom. But more than that, it was you who fought for Skyrim, for our right to fight our own battles... To return to our glory and traditions, to determine our own future!"
Soldiers: "Huzzah!"
Ulfric: "And it is for these reasons that I cannot accept the mantle of "High King." Not until the Moot declares that title should adorn my shoulders will I accept it."
Soldier: "And what about Jarl Elisif?"
Ulfric: "Yes, what about the Lady Elisif? Will she put aside her personal hatred for me, and her misplaced love for the Emperor and his coin, so that the suffering of our people will end? Will she acknowledge that it is we Nord's who will determine Skyrim's future? Will she swear fealty to me, so all may know that we are at peace, and a new day has dawned?"
Elisif: "I do!"
Ulfric: "Then it is settled. The Jarl will continue to rule Solitude, I will garrison armies here to ward off Imperial attempts to reclaim the city. And in due time, the Moot will meet, and settle the claim to High King once and for all. There is much to do, and I need every able bodied man and woman committed to rebuilding Skyrim. A great darkness is growing, and soon we will be called to fight it, on these shores or abroad. The Aldmeri Dominion may have defeated the Empire, but it has not defeated Skyrim!"

*Yawn* So tired. So leepy.

Well, how about this. You guys go 'exercise your right to die' and just leave the Empire and the rest of us alone who do want to live, live our lives as we see fit. Then, whenever you're tired of dieing for... one person... then talk to us then ok?

And you do realize... Ulfric does indeed contradict himself in his final speech? Yes?

- Once in the beg speech at Windhelm, 'his rant about men dieing on foreign soil'
- Stormcloaks who don't want to fight the Empire's wars
- Says he doesn't want to anger Cyrodil
- Says he doesn't want to get the attn of the Dominion (ROFL over here)
- Mult contradictions across the board as well as between he and his 'team'

Raijin, you're a smart guy so why in #*@$ name support Ulfric? I know you like to joke alot so I guess this is a joke. hahaha

But that is precisely what us Stormcloaks want. We want to be left alone and live our lives as we see fit. It's just that were unable to do it because the Empire signed away our rights, and our heritage to the damn elves. The elves have full intentions of turning men into slaves, and we Stormcloaks aren't going to tolerate it. Were not going to put up with a weak Empire ruling Skyrim because she deserves better. We want independence. We want to rule Skyrim using the Nordic traditions and laws. The Imperials brand us criminals for wanting to rule, and for enforcing our traditions and laws.

We gladly make great sacrifices with our lives for the greater good for what better place to go after getting killed in battle? Sovngarde and having a great privilege to enter the Hall of Valor to meet the legendary Ysgramor himself? The man who gave us our lands after the brutal war against the snow elves.

Ulfric is not a dumb man. He knows his limits. He knows that his Stormcloaks army are still new and still need to grain their strength, and power. While Ulfric does hate the Empire, it is not the Stormcloaks primary target for it is the Aldmeri Dominion that Ulfric has his mind focus on. As Skyrim becomes independent he will rebuild and improve his armies.

I support Ulfric because he has a sexy voice, wouldn't you agree? If I was a woman I would be wet downstairs. (Joke).

Seriously thought. Ulfric seems to have a lot of women joining his Stormcloak rebellion. whereas the Imperials mostly have men. Why would I want to be surrounded by sausages? I want some women too.

Look at what Ulfric can offer me for joining his army.

This discussion has spiraled into an abyss of knowledge swallowing ideals and reason into and intense discussion over the Imperial and Stormcloaks causes. The display of intellect and evidence in this debate has astonished me. Quite logical and reasonable arguments have been made by both sides, ever determined to prove the legitimacy of their flag. In a conflict that is doomed to equal pros and cons, how some can diligently support their side despite the most mundane and repetitive discussion endured here will truly prove as an example of the persistence loyalty breeds. Insight from both fields spur higher understanding of the brutal question that ever yearns for an answer. It is truly a magnificent, awe-inspiring sight to behold. A sight that can fascinate either faction. A sight to boldly go where others have gave way. An uncompromising charge for the just in which it is believed will hold base for humanity. Aimed towards the goal of men unbound by elves, of no forsaken gods, of no fallen traditions. Of the steady vigilance of the few. What eloquence! To even attempt its translation into language is to discredit the sophistication of it all. To call in vain the efforts to preserve it. To lay waste to the stones that birthed it! By the hands of the steadfast, may the ends reward the participants, let the Powers that Be answer the call! Let no inquiry go unresolved! Towards the future we march with our virtues in heart! A motion to spur those minds which are called smart! A prelude to the songs of the glorious display! When men may end the elves in our day!

Holy plops this game is awesome.

Bros before hoes. While they are very pretty and Ulfric is powerful, they'll be slitting your throat in the night, in the dark once Ulfric has no more need of you. Course, maybe you're into that sort of thing, I dunno. To each his own I suppose.

Still, what is right cannot be determined by strength. No sacrifice, no victory.

If Ulfric's cause is so 'just' which I'm so sick and tired of hearing that, then why do you need a reward? Has lust replaced honor?

The truth is it's own reward.

All of them are idiots. It's like a big finger pointing game between all of them. The Stormcloaks won't stop shooting themselves in the foot, the Empire won't satisfy itself or its people and the Thalmor are just the distant elvish cousins of Hitler. I am simply a logical observer.

Well there is and isn't anything logical about this. It's war. It's hell.

Now, I've heard it from somewhere before that only High Elves belong on the high ground, so you are Thalmor, because, in essence, you are taking the high ground by not choosing a side. Only the Thalmor can do that. Everyone else, has to choose. And so, it is time to choose.

So, please, choose. Otherwise, you're in the boat with the Thalmor whose primary interest is for the war to drag on until they're ready to make their move. By not choosing, you're in essence doing the same thing.

You're just a hater that's all. Ulfric is fighting a great cause. You Imperials can't seem to comprehend it. We stormcloaks can forgive your ignorance.

By the way our women aren't bitches... unlike the Imperials (coughcoughthecaptainbitchfromhelgencoughcough). The ones that will truly betray you are the Imperial women... wanting to lop off your head for having a bad day.

"You're just a hater that's all"

- "Strength and honor" Mfer
- Also, the other fellow there hasn't made *their* decision yet. Sit down and don't try and decide for him/her.

"Can't comprehend..."

- His cause means absolutely f7cking nothing at all. "It's a great cause" uh-huh but for whom? Who is it "great for"?

"Stormcloaks can forgive..."

- So I suppose Galmar issuing that directive at the end to kill anyone wearing an Imperial uniform is an example or allowing Gen Tully to surrender under 'rules of war'. No thanks, you better be asking Talos for forgiveness as well as EVERY Argonian, Dark Elf and Reachman whom you've harassed, stolen from, slaughtered, oppressed and lives left in chaos. Not to mention all the Imperials you've murdered, starting with Torygg, which Gen Tully is right, that was an assassination.

"... our women aren't b..."

- I never said they were. Stick to the point please?

"Imperial Women..."

- Legate Rikke is an Imperial woman. What's wrong with her?

Well, come on. If Texas decided to declare war against the U.S. because some law was passed that restricted some Texas specific religion, would you cheer for the side that is noble (Texas) (Stormcloaks), or the side that would win (U.S.) (Empire)? It's a cruel choice. Either be a good man or be a winning man, in this case.
