Do you think you should be able to murder children?

Yes. You should also be able to pickpocket them.

I don't believe in slaughtering cities in real life. I do it all the time in games. I just want to be able to kill kids. It's more realistic.

I'm a ps3 player so I don't do mods. But I'm considering getting a pc copy so I can go ultra modded

mmmmm, I don't think so. I haven't even ever tried or cared to try. But I've also never gone chaotic evil and destroyed cities (I felt bad killing Camilla and turning Lucan into my cattle).

I do think they should be mortal when it comes to vampire/cultist/dragon/whatever attacks that happen in towns. But honestly even if the option was there to be able to kill the children I wouldn't do it. They may be annoying but seriously, how long are you near them? I run by them so fast they can barely finish their sentence.

but to each their own

Also I'm really stupid because I always thought Braith was a Grey-Mane o_O

As far as I know, the kids in Skyrim never age and have never committed a crime. They're just jerks. So no. I don't think you should be able to kill them. I do think you should be able to talk some sense into them or rat them out to their parents though. :/

Yeah. It would make the game more realistic though. Besides I often go into cities and kill everyone LOLOLOL

If you really want to know what I think ~ Leave the kids out. I don't remember that many children being in Oblivion. Just don't even go there, leave the kids out of the game completely.

Yes. I find it absolutely hillarious that anyone still tries to draw a moral line in the 21st century with the plops that is on tv/the internet... For example The Walking Dead, they'll happily show a bunch of canibals systematically slicing the throats of people and bleeding them out, but god forbid they show a tit... -sigh-

I agree with you there, it would make it more realistic. But, and maybe it's just me, I kinda play games like Skyrim to escape reality for a while. :/ So.

Yeah I see your point. But I play a mass murderers in games a lot and it's obnoxious when your only witness left is a child. Besides I like these games to be a mix of reality and fantasy lol.

In real life I don't murder children or anybody else nor do I support it. One thing I do with games is use them to get my violence and frustration out on things that don't actually feel pain when I torture them to death. I use games to get my anger out lol.

I might be the unpopular minority here and say killing children is a line that should not be crossed ever. There is a reason child murderers and child abusers are considered the lowest scum in prisons and are constantly beaten up by other prisoners whenever they can get away with it. It's because children are smaller and weaker than adults, and have had less chance to do anything good or evil than adults. This makes the loss of potential more distressing and the likelihood of them doing anything terrible enough to deserve murder more heartbreakingly unlikely.

Child murder is considered so terrible than people get upset when other people want to kill children who don't even exist. That is why it should not be allowed in video games.

I'm unconvinced threads like this help doubters feel that video games don't cause violence. People tend to think anyone who actually says the statement: "I think you should be able to murder children..." are so terrible they are nearly always far too disgusted with the speaker to care that they go on to add: "... in video games, and I would never murder real children."
I agree, but it would be nice where you could do quests where you can give them a good life "lesson" on respect

How do you backstab a Dragon?
No. No killing kids. I don't like most of the kids in Skyrim and I don't like most kids in real life, but, as annoying as they may be, I wouldn't kill them or want to see them get killed. Maybe it's just me.

Not just you, I feel the same.

They should be killable, but I wouldn't kill them.
If a dragon attack caused the death of a kid or two, then too bad. I really don't care... I don't even like any of the vanilla/DLC kids.

I wonder what it would look like if you pickpocket their clothes and then try to equip them on your Dragonborn, LOL.
