imperials- rome /around the empire time/
nords- vikings
redguards- aerobic
orcs- idk
argoinians- south africa
wood elfs- native americans
dark elfs- idk
high elfs- idk

bretons- no offence idk why their even their

I agree on the Imperials being the Romans and the Nords the vikings but I'd say the Argonians are based on the incas / inhabitants of the south American rainforests. The Redguards are the turks and middle east in medieval times. Bretons - not sure on these I'd reckon western europeans.

Wood Elves, yeah I can see them being like native Americans but as for the rest of the races it's difficult to say.

dark elf, the jews, once a might empire with 3 great kings, lost their kingdom and the its people went into exile.
thalmor is obviously the nazi
high elf, lore wise the ancient greek, summerset isle is the origin of magic art,alchemy, spoken langauge and religion, so basically the foundation of temiral culture
orc, Germanic tribe, fearless warriors in barbaric land known for their metal work.they are tall,uses battle axes and works themselves into a berseker rage before the battle,anglo saxon huscarl
