Draekir's wound had started burning he could hardly bare the pain and he stated under his breath "Vampires, never take another contract on a vampire".
He then got up and walked to the bar and put a dozen septims on the bar and began to walk upstairs stopping here and there due to pain. It felt good to him to have a bed after days of sleepless stalking.

Carma kept her still body resting back upon the chair looking up and smiling lightly. With no real objective or option she just sat there and enjoyed what she had. It may be very little but she seems to still enjoy the little things. Carma was soon asked by the bar wench to see if she wanted anything else, with a slight shake of the head a a small motion of the hand to push her onward the bar wench moved on.

Staying seated upon her rustic like chair, she looked at new figures come and go, Carma's mindset was focusing as she blatantly swoop her heavy and feet up like feathers, a big -Crack- came from the table which her feet had been placed. Her eyes were never so fixed nor was her mind, and with a belligerent drunk bothering her, she gave a smile and a single grin befor her fist almost delved into the poor man's face,-Smash n Bang- is how it went he was in then out his face bloodied and some town guards dragging him away to the keep. Carma had reached around to clean off her own bloody fist, her grin was dissolved and her body was firm now she was focused on trying to lose some of the attention she attracted, With a mug in one hand and some bread in the other she ate and drank, looking quite dull and pale, possible
    sick.

Although he is depressed, Valerius is open to conversation. He notices the woman observing him. "Please. Sit down," he says, gesturing to the seat beside him. "I've never minded company."

He says to the woman "A Dunmer? You're a long way from Morrowind. But I'm not like these Nord racists. I respect all races. And considering your equipment, you're a hunter. Good profession."

"Valerius. Pleased to meet you, Naiira." He sighed. "My story is a long and complicated tale. I was a noble knight within the Imperial City until my leader betrayed me and banished me here, to Skyrim. Now my goal is to regain my honor and have my vengeance against the king that has stripped me of my title." He chuckles. "You wouldn't be having the same kinds of problems, would you?"

"I was at the dragon attack too. I escaped quicker than most though." He sighed. "If only others had done the same. I've been dragon hunting recently and I need someone to cover my back. Would you join me in dragon hunting?"

With a slight push, Anukai opens the doors of the Bannered Mare, bringing in a cold breeze from outside with him. This gets the attention of most of the inhabitants, watching the taller than normal Redguard man come in, before the door closes again and they returned to what they were doing. Anukai surveys the tavern before he finds the barkeep to the right of him. His armor making slight clanking sounds, he comes upon the red-haired Nord woman behind the counter wiping down the table with a cloth. She notices Anukai out of the corner of her eye and stops wiping the table. "What can I get you?" says the woman. "A mug of your best drink please." Anukai said in a deep but smooth tone. The barkeep gives him a nod and grabs a greenish-blue bottle from the top of the cupboard behind her. She comes back and reaches down below the counter and pulls out a mug to which she pours the liquid into. "Here you go sir. Colovian Brandy." With a nod Anukai reaches within his pack to pull out a small sack of septims and tosses them towards the barkeep. "Keep the change." Anukai walked over to an empty table across the tavern and sat down, setting down his pack and his mother's sword on the table. He hasn't had to worry too much of a random pickpocket trying to steal the sword due to his slightly intimidating look. Anukai pushed back his hood and wiped off the sweat accumulated on his brow with his hands. "Hopefully I can get some more clues of his whereabouts" Anukai thought to himself. Laying back into his chair, he took out a piece of paper that an old man gave him in the next town over. He apparently had seen the tattoo that the bandit leader had on his shoulder and sketched it: a black dragon tattoo wrapped around a longsword. During his observation of the sketch, he overheard the conversation of someone next to him. "...the dragon attack too. I escaped quicker than most." "Dragon? Anukai thought to himself. "Perhaps this man has a clue." With one swift motion Anukai sprang up off of his chair and walked over to the source of the voice: a small Dark Elven woman and a stout Imperial man. "Excuse me, but what's this about a dragon attack?"

"Aye. Haven't you heard? Helgen was attacked by a dragon. I escaped quickly. But not before I got a taste of the dragon." He points to his blind eye, with a scar going across it. It wasn't visible before because he had tried to keep it out of view. "Deadly attack. Everyone burned in dragon-fire. I went back recently. Charred corpses. Bandits. A beautiful town left to rot."

"Er..no I haven't. I came down here traveling from the Reach." Anukai's spirit was slightly doused with the man's words. "He was talking about a literal dragon attack." He thought to himself. Anukai turned around to go back to his seat before stopping and looking back at the man. "You know. When something or someone drastically changes my life for the worse, the first thought that I get is that I would want revenge for the ones that caused it." Anukai walked over to the last seat at the table and sat down with his mug. He turned his attention to the dark elven woman clutching her bow with her head down. Judging by the smell of singe coming from her, she and the Imperial man probably came from the same area. Anukai was still amazed by his sense of smell. "If you're looking for any help, I'd be more than happy to assist." Anukai reached his hand forward. "My name is Anukai of the War-Searcher clan. How about you two?"

(Hey all, just fyi but my character card is in my signature. I'm a little rusty on RP but this seems fun so here goes..)

A young Bosmer woman, clad in a grey mage robe and hood with black boots, with a sword at her side and arrow quiver on her back, walks her horse up to Whiterun's stables. After shutting the horse inside and tipping the stable master to feed the horse, she makes her way into town and then inside The Bannered Mare. After a quick glance around with silvery irises after entering, she orders a simple mead and piece of bread from the Barkeep and sits down at a table near the back. She then lowers her hood and lets her unkempt white hair out of its prison. Then she sits and people watches, keeping silent all the while occasionally sipping her mead.

Alachel trudges into the tavern hanging her head in sadness. Today had been a travesty. Between the strap on her quiver snapping, making a fifth of her normal daily profit, and then having a cutpurse steal that profit (not to mention a very pretty gem she found on her travels) and then to top it off her path home was plagued with all sorts of weather. The only luck she had found was in a bandit who, oddly enough, was missing his head. After rummaging through his pockets she had found enough trinkets to hawk to get some pocket change.

As she sits at the bar she slams the change onto the table "May I have some mead please? I would very much like to forget this entire day" as the barmaid finds her a bottle of mead, Ala slams her head on the counter and groans

Trogg restless from what seemed like an endless walk stumbled into The Bannered Mare. He hadn't been completely rid of troubles considering he had escaped from his death row enforced by a group of imperials. Trogg needed a drink. And a fresh piece of meat. He hadn't achieved the title "The Molestar" for nothing. So many witnesses Trogg thought... Oh well. Trogg started reading the incantations on the scroll he always carries for a situation like this. The ancient words echoed eerily throughout the inn and suddenly it was as if time itself had frozen. Trogg knew this was not the case because such magic seemed a bit risky for the particular stunt he was about to pull. The truth of the matter was that everyone in The Bannered Mare was paralyzed, neck down. Just how Trogg liked it. Trogg started unclasping the buttons of his still bloody imperial armor that most people seemed slightly unnerved by upon him entering the room. The room had been completely quiet until now. Three words exited Trogg's mouth that everyone was waiting to hear.

    (つ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)つ "It's raping time". (つ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)つ

Serah knew something strange was happening. All of a sudden it seemed as if time itself had frozen everything in the tavern.. And that's when she realized she couldn't move.
She would not give in to something like this. She was much to strong.
She thought up an incantation to reverse the paralysis and thought it; no success, but hopefully it would help the other patrons.
Not having another choice, she knew the only way to break free was to transform.. Hopefully whatever magic was at work would prevent to many witnesses. And so, she transformed into her werewolf form, and with a howl easily shrugged off the spell, and ran out of the tavern in the same form and out of Whiterun.

((OOC: Sorry Trogg but you gotta plan for things like that. :/))

    Skillful Bosmer Hunter seeking Adventure
The tavern door blew open with a gale of wind entering alongside a tall and lean figure. Elgorym had nearly entered hell and came back out. After his head injury, he knew that mead from Hulda would be the one thing that could take his mind off of the Dragon priest slain not long ago.

"One Black Briar, please." Elgorym said, coughing, as he watching the flickering flames dance in the roaring fire and listened to the mediocre music being played.

And enter Kalib. The somewhat unusual Redguard figured he'd stop and take ina few of the sights the locals had to offer. He had just finished up turning in affew bounty heads, quite literally, for the reward money. After that affair was settled, he made his way to one of the local taverns to see if he could pick up any more work. The ice wolf he kept as a companion had more than gotten him a few awkward glares and snide looks from a few of the citizens and the guards. The wolf entered with Kalib and laid itself next to him at the bar counter as he placed a few coins on the counter to order a drink while keeping an ear out for any signs of mercenary, or bounty work.

As Elgorym sipped his Black Briar Mead, he saw a strange Redguard man enter with an ice wolf beside him. Elgorym then stood up and walked over to the Redguard.

"Hello," the young Bosmer said as he knelt down to pet the domesticated wolf's head, "What brings you here? To me, you seem like you're looking for a little more than a drink and rest."

Elgorym, too, was seeking adventure. Despite his recent injury, he had been healing well.
