How do Argonians sit comfortably on thrones?

There's only one hell, the one we live in now.
It's a weird question I know but this is for a short fanfic I'm doing.

Surely they can't sit comfortably on thrones because there's no way for them to rest their tail while sitting down. Obviously Nordic thrones aren't designed for Argonians.

Is there anyway for Argonians to sort of rest their tail to left or right of the throne? Or would the throne have to be adjusted to suit said Argonian's needs?

I'm sorry if it doesn't make sense.

It's so obvious...

They simply cut their tail off and sit down. When they are done sitting they stand up and regenerate their tail over a period of several months.

OUCH!

Instead of slouching, they curl their tail and stroke it cat-like...;)

I'm helping. Mostly.
Lean to one side of the throne, tail gets to turn around and occupy the other side.

I'd say it would need to be designed for an Argonian. Maybe a split throne like Daelon said. Something where there's a gap in between the back of the throne and the seat. Then the Argonian could just put their tail through the gap and sit comfortably. Or I imagine they could curl it around one side, but I'd imagine after a while it would get uncomfortable.

it's probably like a toilet seat

I was thinking they could curl their tail around their body but then I remember that their tails probably work more like reptile tails instead of mammal tails and now I'm just o_O

Probably a beautiful chair with arms but no back to it, that way the tail sticks out the back no trouble.

View attachment 34492 It's called a Curule chair popular with Romans and the like.
It would be tough to lounge around like Balgruf or the old chick from Morthal, or even the dude from Falkreath in a chair like that. You'd topple over backwards! Of course, maybe Argonians are more inclined to good posture?

I think they slouch because they're not born Jarls they probably were the strongest warrior and came by the thrown because of a strong sword arm. You notice that the ruler in Solitude sits more demurely on the thrown, most likely raised to be a suiter for the king/Jarl. I like to think Argonians and Khajjits would be different from Nords, maybe keep some of they're animalistic traits.

In a Nordic throne, any Argonian is uncomfortable after a short time. When I observe my own bearded dragon it becomes clear; Argonians "sit" by lounging front down with arms and legs to the side, and the tail free. :beermug:

They probably sit like L :) If you watched Death Note you will understand. :) Or just look it up
