Making your own background music

Hey guys, apologies ahead of time if anyone made a similar thread to this. I did search for one and didn't find one, however it is completely possible I missed it. If that's the case feel free to delete this thread.
Now then. I've been skimming a lot of your guys' posts lately and I noticed a lot of you listen to music while you play Skyrim. Well I thought that'd be a great idea so I tried it myself on last nights Skyrim session. It made it that much more awesome.
However I'm running out of things to play. I've listened to both Two Steps from Hell and Blackmill as well as both of their Pandora stations.
So here are my question(s) - what do you suggest I listen to for my next Skyrim session? Also, what do you listen to, if anything, while playing Skyrim (besides the background music obviously)?

I don't know why anyone wants to listen to anything other than the skyrim music... some absolutely beautiful music on the game.

But hey, that's just me.

Lately I've been playing with the Shadowgate remake's soundtrack, it's been fun so far.

I have this and a few other pieces from the same composer as part of my game soundtrack (via a mod). That's all the variety I need.

I suppose I could have WMP or YouTube playing music while I play, but that would most likely unnecessarily hinder performance.
My PC setup doesn't have speakers, so I would have to use headphones even if I didn't want to.

Wow, I just checked out some of his music.... absolutely amazing.

Hmm... I belt out a hearty rendition of "the A Team" theme song whenever I am riding on my horse..and yes I mean I "sing" it my self. That always makes for fun times

I also sometimes make up my own "literal" song.. singing what I am doing.. it's always amusing and my son loves it. He says I should do "let's play" videos.

That sounds like an interesting thing to watch. I agree with your son. Sounds like you'd make a great lets play video person.

Unfortunately, I Skyrim on Xbox and I am too cheap to buy a capture card..

Ahh I hear ya. I've thought about making some Lets Play vids myself but I too play on console - a PS3. :/ Too bad though.

It'll be nice when the actually release this game for the PS4 (probably digital download) since it has a capture function built right in.

I personally love Skyrim music, but i got into the habit of listening to other music during PS3 Skyrim... After 2 years i finally decided on gettting the PC version, so i added an Attack On Titan Music Replacer... And boy does it make me have an orgasm! Lol jk... But it is really refreshing

However I would suggest some dupstep, because it makes you feel very badass xD true fact

I like any OST. Anything from movies to games, like The Gladiator to Assassin's Creed. In fact, even playing the Skyrim OST while playing sounds better than how they have it in game.

I really love that idea actually. I've just recently gotten into Attack On Titan and I gotta say their music gets your adrenaline pumping. I may just try that, if I can find the soundtrack lol.

Spector of Death - Yeah it seems a lot of people here do that. Quite interesting actually. And not a bad idea, only I haven't listened to many OSTs I like lately. I think the last video game OST I listened to were ones for all the Silent Hill games.

So it's been a while.

If you are morning with mods, Its on Steam and Nexus, But if not then i suggest using the free must downloader in the app store! Its really useful [emoji4]

Unfortunately I play on PS3 so no mods. But by App Store, do you mean the Apple version or Android version? I'd like to take a look for that downloader.
