Krisalyn crossed her arms "I'm just saying it's a possibility. And a chance that can't be ignored, plus didn't Cicero kill the other listener before the Dovahkiin, so surely I can be a possibility but I guess we'll wait and see" Krisalyn walked over to Valinna who was shivering. Krisalyn threw a heavy robe over Valinna and stood listening

a moment ago "that we know of and at least someone uses necromancy on Harkon...." John said before turning to Cinder.

John turned to Krisalyn "it can't be Cicero.....he's crazy yes, insane possible but he's not stupid he knows The Dragonborn could have shouted him all the way to The Reach with no effect at all" he said smiling a little at Cinder, John put his hand on Cinder's shoulder "Cinder.........are you sure you wish to see him?" he asked her concerned

Markus remained quiet. He was in deep thought about the case. "We have to remember, though; there are literally millions of blades on Nirn. For all we know, are culprit could be some freelance person who just lost his cool. We shouldn't jump to any conclusions."

Cinder sighed. "I... I can really see any family right now for comfort... But Cicero is the only family I have left." She closed her eyes as if in pain, and eyelids still closed, she nodded, "That's right, Markus. It could be anybody... But I'm keen to find out exactly who, and why." She opened her eyes again. Looking at the snow beneath her, not meeting anybody's gaze, she sighed, "Odahviing, do you have the body?"
Odahviing nodded, and when Cinder looked up, she shivered. It seemed unnatural to see a dragon nod, but Odahviing took no notice and pointed to a heap of snow beside a large jagged boulder with the tip of his tail. "Odahviing put body in snow so it won't rot," the dovah explained.

Krisalyn walked over to the snow pile and uncovered the body. She fell back being pushed by the smell "no offence but...this is starting to stink...sorry" Krisalyn looked over the wounds "hmm...now that I see the wounds...they aren't at all familiar..." Krisalyn walked over to Valinna so the others could see

Markus approached the body. "Toldfir was right, these cuts are jagged. Not any type of blade I've seen. Being an enchanter, I've seen plenty." He sighed.

Cinder stared silently at the dead body... She began to feel somewhat ill and her head told her to turn away, but her heart instructed her to do what she came on this journey for: swallowing, she examined her father's wounds. Markus was right; the cuts WERE jagged. This piece of evidence completely blew Cinder's theory out of the water. Well, partially... but not likely that a daedric weapon could inflict slices like that...
Cinder examined her father's body curiously (but also sickly) and discovered that both of his palms were burned and cut with a single, straight cut in the middle. It was quite terrifying.

"could've been Ebony, Orcish, Nordic it's gonna take me awhile to find the right weapon but I think I'll figure it out" he said as he looked at Cinder who examining her father's hands he decided to examine them as well "he must have.......*cough* been disarmed somehow and put his hands up to defend himself from the next attack but the blade was enchanted with fire and this.....left him open to the.......killing...blow" he said his eyes seemed to turn red as he got up and walked over to the mountain and punched the mountain as a chunk of rock the size of his chest fell off hitting the ground with a thud "I am going to rip this bastard apart with my damn hands and FEED WHATEVER IS LEFT TO BEARS!!!" he yelled in rage as tears fall down his face

After John yelled Valinna woke up startled. She then toke a dagger out of her pocket and examined it (as she does when she's tired but can't sleep). The dagger was a mix of Ebony, Orcish, and Daedric. "Hmmmmmm......"

Cinder walked to John's side. "When I'M done with him, I'm not sure there WILL be anything left to throw away." Her eyes darkened as she gritted her teeth and she turned to look at her father some more. She looked into his eyes, and she covered her eyes as she weeped in silence. For once in her life, she hated the look of her father's eyes- they were open, but they seemed to stare into nothing but shadows. His vibrant green eyes were now dull to a dark grass green. She finally uncovered her eyes and sighed. "Do any..." Her voice cracked. "Do any of you have possible suspects..?"

Valinna screamed loudly as she dropped her dagger and backed away from it. She started holding her head and screaming loudly "no no no no no no no no no!!!!!!! Get out of my head!!!!!" After so she suddenly stopped looking around as she searched for the voice she had heard. She looked at the dagger "t-the dagger.......I-it...spoke...to me...."

Markus was too deep in thought to really care about what was happening. His face has a blank look to it, his eyes narrowed and not looking at anything in particular. "Guys, are we forgetting something? It could be a conjurer. A conjured blade has jagged cuts similar to these, and most conjurers use Alteration as well; that could be how he disarmed him. The burns on his hands could be from a rare case of when a conjured blade is enchanted with fire." He was thinking out loud now,

Cinder looked at the dagger. She picked it up and examined it. She looked at the hilt intently and glanced at Vallina. "This is a hybrid dagger," she began to explain. "They usually speak. They are very rare. It is rumored that the evil daedric lords' spirits are absorbed in the fire that they are forged in." Cinder put the knife in Vallina's satchel and spoke: "You should be careful with who you kill with it. Their spirits will be in the blade... Like soul gems."
Cinder looked down at the snow after giving the satchel to Vallina. "I say... It's been a chaotic night. Before we go out to interrogate and investigate, I say we get a little shut-eye. What do you think?"

Valinna hesitantly picked up the dagger as it spoke to her again. The dagger seamed to be happy to finally speak again, but Valinna was still creeped out.

She walked over to Markus and stood in front of him "um...do you know anything about possession? Because...this dagger is talking to me......" Valinna held out the dagger to show it to Markus

Markus nodded to Cinder's statement. When Valinna spoke to him, Markus smiled and nodded. "Most Hybrid weapons can work as sort of a conduit for Deadra. They're in other planes, for sure, but they're connecting with Nirn via your weapon, and since you're the wielder, they're gonna talk to you." He explained.

Valinna examined the dagger more "interesting! I wish I knew more about it. But my father thought mages and wizards were horrible, since he's a Nord, but I was always fascinated by magical plains and the way they work. I'm just glad my mother taught me a bit about it ^-^ but...if my dagger can speak to me through my thoughts...then can I speak to it through my thoughts as well?" Valinna looked confused at the dagger

Markus tapped his chin. "In theory, they do read your thoughts, so yeah, it is possible." He nodded. "Although, we should get back down to High Hrothgar; I'm tired and we need to prepare for the Arch mage's burial."

While Markus and Vallina were conversating, Cinder sauntered to a spot and laid down gently on her back. She wasn't going to sleep just yet. She watched the beautiful auroras ripple in the night sky. The two moons shone dimly, and the stars shone even brighter. Starlight was in Cinder's eyes, and she sighed as she watched the night sky. She loved to watch the sky that ruled the night... The auroras... The stars... The moons... They comforted her.
She sat up again and nodded at Markus' statement. "Right... Are the rest of you ready?" She stood up and gazed at John and Krisalyn.

"I'm ready!"Valinna yelled out to Cinder. "As am I" Krisalyn replied. The two waited for the others at the slope down the mountain
