Is my computer good enough to run Skyrim?

Hey guys, got another question for ya. I know someone asked this just a little while ago but seeing as my laptop has different specs, I figured it would be okay to ask again.
So here's my laptop:

The specs and all are there. I did try and compare it against the minimum specs needed to run Skyrim, and it seems fine, but there are two things I'm unsure of. One, my laptop runs Windows 8, and it says it needs Windows 7. And two, I don't have a Nvidia GeForce video card.
I'd like to try and download Skyrim while it's still on sale over at Steam. And of course, run it with a few mods, nothing too major. So would my laptop run Skyrim? Thanks for any help you can give me.

To be honest it's not the best as it has Integrated Graphics. It might struggle, and definitely with mods applied. You also need a kick-ass cooling system for a laptop if you are going to game on it. Personally I would steer away from HP as a brand as well. Sorry but if you want to game on a laptop, you need a gaming laptop, and this is not.

You could try it. But you might want to be prepared to be a little disappointed. <3

No worries at all. Laptops are tricky. They require far more than PC's to be able to game on. Their fans are tiny and can't deal with the heat generated by all the work the laptop has to do to run the game. Investing in a cooling platform of some sort will help (not enough to pull of a game like Skyrim though) especially in the warmer months.
