Yes. Because they can be. Just like Thalmor can be ignorant twits about Talos. I'm sure in this version of the word, places like High Rock, and the Isles would be more than accepting of magicka, due to how common a practice it is to use it. and I'm glad that you are in on it Burd! Any thoughts of how and where your character would hear about them? Based off of my answering of your question.

Well it being that she felt a draw to skyrim her first bit of research would be to look into the history of such activity in the area. This would lead her to the vigils/ urgence. Ether she would have set feelers (people) out to pass on anything they bad heard for a bit of extra coin.
    Ba-da-bing ba-da-boom.

As for the weather I have this image which indicates the tempretures during each season within different areas of skyrim. Ill post it at some point (its in my blog somewhere) but I just like to know the surroundings.

Also I vote for dragons bridge.

I'm game for that. It'll be a nice change of pace. Make you think twice about throwing magic around. Good for some interesting confrontations later on as well. Let's do it!

    2/3 votes for yes. :D

Hlif, I am confused as to what you meant. So she would pay some people to find stuff out for her? And I am all for Falkreath, as it is my favorite city, but Dragon's Bridge is good too. :D. And thanks for your input Cap. And that is exactly why I decided to add that thought about magicka into my post. I thought it could make things a bit more interesting.

Falkreath is my favourit as well, so I'd be happy with eeither. I only said dragons as its more remote.

He he, oh sorry. I'm on my phone so typing is no fun. I ment that she informed a handful of people in the various cities that she was looking for information and willing to pay. That or she heard about them herself through inquires (innkeepers and the like.)

I swear to drunk, I'm not Talos.
I've been reading, sorry. Part of me died with MSU's loss to Oregon last weekend, and I've been picking up the pieces ever since.

Unlike the rest of you guys, Skov really isn't all that religious or devoted to the Urgents. He's just in this thing because he's really damn good at what he does (but sucks phenomenally at everything else). He's actually skeptical of any evil thing that he's never seen - because that is how his small brain works. While he believes in Talos, it's simply his upbringing and not any powerful belief.

He's too stupid to hate people, although he gets offended if he thinks anyone is questioning his intelligence. But he doesn't hold grudges. Think of him as a big ol' stupid dog. He's got good instincts and becomes insanely loyal to you in a really short amount of time, but doesn't have much else going for him.

My main concern is definitely how Skov will tie into the group. I know you need a guide, but rumors of a crazy pair of folks asking for strangers to fight evil with them doesn't scream "we need a guide!" Could they have contacted Skov? Could Skov be in the area, looking for a client? Maybe there is a rumor that they need a guide? I just feel like he would be too unintelligent to actually chase rumors instead of going about his satisfying little cycle of ferrying travelers around Skyrim.

Though I can modify his background to make him have a connection with the Urgents. I'd like to keep his big stupid dog personality though.

Um... Well see funny thing is I don't really watch football. :$ It's not really a Canadian sport/Malaysian sport so I was just never really exposed to it. *hides* I was actually agreeing with your reasoning. Perhaps he could be in a town and the group/them two had inquired with an innkeeper or locals as to the best guide and he came highly recommended? I also have to say I'm looking forward to RPing with you and this character. He seems pretty fresh. Limited but also skilled. Plus I loved the way you described him as a big dumb dog.

I am going to forgive your lack of sports knowledge because you are Canadian. Because I love Canadians. All of my favorite bands are Canadian. Hell, the guy in my avatar is Canadian. RIP.

Incidentally, every band I have seen live has broken up. So I am sorry for breaking up all the wonderful Canadian bands from your land. I'm debating on using my powers for good and saving the world a lot of grief by going to a Nickelback concert.

On topic now: I like your idea. Let's see what Spect thinks of it.

Thank you! I based Skov off of my (now) 7 month old giant breed puppy. Who is as dumb as a rock but is very loyal and has excellent instincts. But can be a brat if you question her choice to wrap you in her leash. I try to create balanced characters. Or ones who are extremely flawed.

Speaking of which, I still want to use Natch in an RP with y'all. I love my selfish skooma addicted Imperial who also is a closet-genius. Mainly because writing a realistically stoned character is fun.

Ha ha, yeah that would be great! Quite interesting to interact with that one. I bothered Bear about seeing if we cou. revive it but it was only a dream and not ment to be. I'm sorry I disappeared. That roleplay could have been so good. * feels ashamed *

Do you think you could show up at a beiber concert? Or is that too big of a sacrifice. (Please, he's probably our biggest celebrity shame. He's sullying our good reputation! In all seriousness its good to see some Canadian love around here. :D

WHAT KIND OF PUPPY?! (I love dogs. Especially the big ones.)

On a sidr note there is also a Canadian in my avatar

No need to be ashamed. I can stick Natch in pretty much any RP. I just have to modify his background. His personality is universal. Please let me know if y'all have any availability anywhere for him.

Goodness. You may be asking too much. My genre of Canadian bands is moreso the loud and screamy bands made up of members who previously had incredible sideburns. INCREDIBLE SIDEBURNS. Said sideburns were so epic that they morphed into beards after an incredible 10 years.

I'll see what my people can do though. Being in Michigan, I'm not too far off from your country.

This is my 7 month old baby (just took this earlier today). She is 80 pounds already. A Swiss Mountain Dog.

I made the most unearthly EEEEEE noise when the picture of your puppy loaded. (That's my that so cute/overly excited noise. I'm almost sure I'm part Fennec Fox. You'll understand if you've ever heard their happy noises.) SHE'S ADORABLE. Can I know her name? What a sweet face. I love the one black covered eyes with the eyebrow spot and the other white. Quite the character I assume.

That's why I said sacrifice. That's not really my music scene ether. I like most kinds of music (not huge on screamo unless its a Taylor swift cover or country for the most part) but some of my favorites are Brand New, Mree, Margot and the Nuclear so and so's, Gregory and the Hawk, Wax ect. ect. Not very heavy but I love rock and the like. Indie. Some rap. (Apologies for the rambling. Forgive. Please. *puppy dog eyes*)

dw bout it, Hlif. You're probably the third fellow female I have RP'd with on here, so I'm flffin' pumped. Puppy is named Bark Dogtonio - or Toni for short. Named after head football coach Mark Dantonio. She's awesome, but is really stupid.

It's not really screamo............. Brace yourself, as I am going to be using Canadian examples here:

It's more like Canadian born singer Dallas Green of City and Colour singing alongside Canadian born screamer/singer Wade McNeil of Gallows. And they kind of take turns. Or one sings in the background. Sort of. So it's like, rough on the edges, but really frickin' beautiful at the same time.

    It's exactly like that actually.

edit - no need to apologize for rambling. I do the same. I've heard of a couple of those bands. I'm honestly anywhere on the music scale from Dave Matthews to Gallows. Which is like saying I like everything from pretty and well thought out music to really angry and loud plops.

I've just been on a loud and obnoxious music kick for about two years now.

Sorry for my lack of responses. My limited internet access at school, along with my unlimited sleep deprivation don't seem to leave me be. Anywho, I like your idea Hlif. It would work well if Skov was located near where Lupos and Ash were at the time. The fact that they need him in general is means enough to keep him around. And Ash isn't one to through away free, loyal, muscle either. As for Natch, I am only in 2 RP's at the moment: This and another closed one. So I can't help ya there, sorry.

As for bands, has anybody heard of Little Bird and the Bear? They have some great albums like DEAL WITH IT, and #ForeverSoft... (Nudges Hlif.) it's an inside joke. I do personally listen to some Hardcore music, but nothing to harsh. The softest that I would go in that area would probably be Papa Roach. And I can get a lot more ear splitting depending on the mood I am in. But I like to stick to Contemporary, Rock, Indie, and EDM for the most part.

OH, and Love your dog Farth! Especially the name. And as for sports, my head has been put into more NFL than anything at the moment. My Ravens got an appointment to gut Pittsburg tomorrow, so....

Now, as far as getting this started goes, I have a couple more things that I plan on doing to help get you guys ready. We haven't discussed the Enemy/ies yet, and as soon as I am able, I will elaborate further. I have not only some good descriptions for the few I want to include, but possible artwork as well. OH, and I would be happy to hear any ideas of your's as soon as I explain exactly what we will be facing.

Oh yeah! Little Bird and the Bear are pretty much the best band ever. (I publicly laughed my ass off at that Bur . #NOSHAME#DEALWITHIT) oh and so y'all are aware I'm bird, burd, or little bird to spec.

I'm so excited to hear/read/see the stuff you have prepared. This is gonna be good.:D
