Well, for one, he was there, Ralof wasn't. It was accidental at first, during the fight in the torture room, I got a little overenthusiastic and hit him, then realised I could sneak up on him really easily. I'll buy him a mead to apologise and maybe not steal all his family's stuff.
Do you always kill the torturer and his assistant? I do.

Isn't that their entire purpose? Every single time.

How do you backstab a Dragon?

If I'm playing a mage I leave the assistant alive until the final encounter with the SC's. Then I kill him in front of Hadvar and Hadvar doesn't say a thing. :)

I was opening my 2nd black book in Solstheim and my wife Brelyna quickly responds with "What? AGAIN?" I loled.
One time when I opened one of those, Argis the Bulwark said, "That's just wrong."
Yeah, I think your spouse gets a few lines of disgust in what you're doing. She also said other lines like "I REALLY wish you would stop doing that!"

I've just realised that the only way to get mage gear inside Helgen Keep is by picking a lock, meaning at least some usage of thief skills.

Lock picking is almost essential though. Look at it this way: it isn't a thief skill unless you put perk points into it. That way your character is just as bad at lock picking as everyone else.

Karolas, my Bosmer custom follower usually gives me something like, "GEEZ, can you warn me BEFORE you do that!?"

True. I think this is just part of the ongoing realisation about the railroading that takes place, not just in the plot, but the mechanics. Hey, we've created a cool lockpicking minigame - you MUST use it. Makes it difficult to play a character that is really specialized.

A long series of TES novels could be composed based on both established lore and speculative. Such would be a grand epic if properly executed.

A quality TV series would be stupendous, yet that is but a dream within a dream.

We were playing dog and bear, you know, and Servo was chasing me and I ran panicked over logs and through streams, you know, maddened with primal terror, you know, and I turned and raked my deadly claws against his howling snout, you know, and I rose to my hind feet, towering, and still bellowing he came, and I mewled and spewed gore from my wounds and snot from my flaring wild maw and...and...and we were locked like lovers and, and, and, and I was encurled by moiled spotted hound bodies and my entrails were hanging out and I tried a savage feral roar but, alas, my force was spent and I died.

Fought my first-ever Tempest Drake (Deadly Dragons mod) today, and they have the same "model" as a Legendary Dragon.
For some reason I suddenly thought it looked a lot like one of the ponies from My Little Pony... a series I've watched a grand total of one time.

Random thought indeed, lol

Edit: Wrong dragon. An Awakened killed me, and after reloading a Tempest showed up instead.

Impressive.

That's really an amazing story.

I didn't think anyone liked My Little Pony so much

I like to watch kids' series every now and then simply because they're so silly/stupid/hilarious. :p

I was wandering around after starting a new game, headed to the nearest hut and to my surprise was Pinewatch, I know it was near but not that close to Helgen.

I made a new Khajiit and named him after a dear neighbor of mine in Animal Crossing... Meet Scoot!

His focus will be typical Thief but with Alteration and Restoration to help back him up. Never took those two magic fields seriously and want to utilize them.

Earlier today, I pickpocketed Calixto Corrium's key from him, and broke into his house. In there, I stole a journal from a chest that clearly proves Calixto is the Butcher, but I still had to go through the "Blood on Ice" quest normally, accusing the court wizard and all that.

It was kinda frustrating to do all that, when I had definite proof with me all the time, that Calixto Corrium was the murderer.

I found out a few days ago that you don't have to accuse the court wizard. If you go straight to the wizard instead he'll tell you it's not him and will continue the story. No having him locked up. He also likes you because you didn't wrongly lock him up :)
