The texture is sort of cut off from the rest of the ground texture, i don't really know how to explain it. It looks okay without a torch light being near it, but as soon as the guard walks over this happens.

I've noticed the same thing in my game. No idea what's causing it... could be any number of things, I suppose.
Not an ENB issue, though; I don't use them but you appear to have one.

Hey, thanks for the information dude. I believe I've fixed it. Do you have an NVidia card? If so go into your Nvidia Control Pannel and turn 'OFF' your anti aliasing settings, even if they're set to adaptive/application controlled. This seems to have gotten rid of the shadow problem and fixed the shard cutting overlap of the textures that cause this shadow problem.

Edit: nvm, it's returned..

I have an AMD card.
I found this thread here on Skyrim Forums; it seems like a similar if not the same problem. The OP didn't get a reply, but they found a workaround.

That thread helped, it is indeed the same issue. A comment @ http://steamcommunity.com/app/72850/discussions/0/828925216540726378/ helped as he mentioned something to do with Skyrim not loading the light source properly, but again no perm fix for it.
